Using the Keyboard

Connecting the Keyboard

1. Position the tablet's rear camera to insert it into the camera hole and place the tablet on the support.
2. Insert the tablet into the connection hole, aligning the tablet's connectors and the dock ports. The keyboard can be used immediately.

The keyboard can be used as a screen cover. The screen turns off when covered by the keyboard and turns on when the keyboard is opened.

Caution: Do not apply excessive pressure to the keyboard while attaching the cover to the tablet screen. Doing so may damage the screen.

Using the Keys

Before using the keyboard, set the input language on the tablet. For more information on setting the input language, refer to the tablet's user manual.

• A: [Fn] + [DeX]: Starts or closes Samsung DeX.
• B: Allows content search.
• C: [Lang]: Switches between input languages.
• D: [Fn] + [ ] : Activates or deactivates the on-screen keyboard.

• [Fn] + [▲]: Page up
• [Fn] + [▼]: Page down
• [Fn] + [◀]: Home
• [Fn] + [▶]: End

Attaching the S Pen

Attach the S Pen to the tablet as shown in the image below. The S Pen can also be attached after covering the keyboard cover.

Note: Ensure the S Pen nib is positioned towards the camera. If positioned incorrectly, the S Pen will not charge.

Storing the S Pen

Store the S Pen as shown in the image below.
