HeatedDisplayCases |www.igloorefrigeration.com 7 REFRIGERATION LTD 9CVGTNGXGNKPDCKPOCTKGVCPM Beforeconnectingwaterbainmarieitisessentialtochecktheclosureofballvalvelocatedbelowthedisplaycase body(Figure1/8)andfillthetankwithproperamountofcleanwater.Wepourthewaterdirectlyintothebain marietank(ex.Withrubberhose)toavoidfloodingtheelectricpart! Optimallevelofpouredwatershouldfallslightlyabovethelevel(2)(Figure8).Thelevelofpouredshouldnotbe toohigh,asthiscanprolongthewaterheatingtime.Apartfromtheabove,thewatermaynotreachtheproper, hightemperature,andheatersmayworkcontinuously,whichwillcausegreaterpowerconsumptionandquicker wearandtearoftheheaters. Toensureminimalelectricenergyconsumption,itisessentialto: · Addwaterofhighestpossibletemperatureinordertoshortentheactuationtime. · Whentheunitisoperating,pleasecoverthebainmarietankwithcontainersinordertodecreasewater evaporationandshortenthewaterheatingtime. BainmarieisequippedwithSPW4waterlevelregulatorusedtocontrolandmanagetankwaterlevel.This regulatorisequippedwithsoundandlightsignaling(Figure7/4,5)illustratingbainmarieoperatingcondition. Greendiodesignalslowwaterlevel,theheatingfunctionisstillactivepourthewaterintothetank,untilthe diodewillbeoff. Reddiodesignalsverylowwaterlevelinthetank,theheatingfunctionisstillactive(untilsoundsignalingwillbe activated)itisabsolutelynecessarytopourthewateruntilthereddiode,andthenthegreendiodewillbeoff. Whenbainmarietankisproperlyfilledwithwater,controlpaneldiodesshouldnot beilluminatedatall. Infraredradiatorsareusedforadditional,superficialdishheating.Theyusethephenomenonoftemperature radiation,aiminginabsorbingandchangingtheradiationenergyfallingonheateddishesintoheat.Radiatedwaves fallthroughairwithoutanydifficultiesanddonotemitheatuntiltheyreachtheheatedsurface.Bulbsandinfrared radiatorsmaybeturnedon/turnedoffindependentlywithswitchesplacedoncontrolpanel(Figure7/2;3).
