The appliance is intended exclusively for straightening human hair. Do not use it under any circumstances on wigs or hairpieces made of synthetic material, or on animals. Use the appliance exclusively for private purposes. This appliance is not suitable for commercial use.

Remove all parts of the appliance from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Check the delivery for completeness and for visible damage. If any component is missing or if damage is found due to defective packaging or transport, contact the Technical Support hotline (see chapter Technical Support).

Safety Instructions
⚠️ DANGER! Connect the USB power adapter for charging only to a properly installed and earthed socket. The mains voltage must correspond to the data indicated on the type plate of the USB power adapter.
In case of malfunctions and before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the USB power adapter from the socket and the charging cable from the appliance.
Ensure that the charging cable does not become wet or damp during the charging process. Route it so that it cannot be pinched or damaged.
If the appliance or any accessory is damaged, do not continue to use it to avoid hazards.
Never touch the appliance or the charging cable with wet hands.
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
After each charging, disconnect the USB power adapter from the electrical socket and the charging cable from the appliance.
Switch off the appliance after each use and before proceeding with cleaning and charging.
If the appliance has fallen or is damaged, it must not be put back into operation. The appliance must be checked and, if necessary, repaired by a qualified technician.
Do not open or repair the appliance housing yourself. Otherwise, safety is not guaranteed and the warranty becomes void. The defective appliance must only be repaired by authorized technicians.
?❌ Never use the appliance near water, especially near sinks, bathtubs, or similar containers. Proximity to water poses a danger, even when the appliance is switched off. Therefore, unplug the appliance after each use. As additional protection, the installation of a residual-current device with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the bathroom circuit is recommended. Consult your electrician.

Children are not allowed to play with the appliance.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or with lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the associated dangers.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Use only original accessories for this appliance. Accessories from other manufacturers may not be suitable and may pose a danger!
The appliance heats up during operation. While hot, grip it only by the handle and never by the heating plates!
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is switched on.

Use only the supplied charging cable to charge the appliance.
To charge the appliance, use only a Class II USB power adapter approved for use with household appliances, with an output voltage of 5 V === and an output current of max. 2 A.
When using a USB power adapter, the socket used must always be easily accessible so that the USB power adapter can be quickly disconnected from the socket in a hazardous situation. Also refer to the instruction manual of the USB power adapter.
Do not wrap the charging cable around the appliance and protect it from damage.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents for cleaning the appliance. These can damage the surface.
During operation and for cooling, always place the appliance on a non-combustible surface. This must also be observed during the heating process!
WARNING! SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERIES
The product is equipped with or supplied with a lithium-ion battery.
This appliance contains a battery that cannot be replaced.
The appliance has an integrated lithium-ion battery. Improper handling can lead to fire, explosions, leakage of dangerous substances, or other dangerous situations!
The appliance must not be thrown into an open fire.
Do not open or short-circuit the battery. Otherwise, the battery may overheat and burst. There is a risk of fire!
Never store the appliance in a discharged state. Prolonged storage in a discharged state can lead to permanent damage to the battery. If the appliance is stored for a long period, the battery charge level must be checked regularly. The ideal charge level is between 50% - 80%.
Before First Use
- Charge the battery as described in the chapter "Charging the integrated battery".
- We recommend cleaning the appliance and all accessories before first use, as described in the chapter "Cleaning". This will remove any production residues.
The appliance is now operational.
Charging the Integrated Battery
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of death from electric shock! Charge the appliance only in dry indoor areas and not in the direct vicinity of water, e.g., next to or above a sink filled with water.
ℹ️ Note: Before using the appliance for the first time, the integrated battery must be fully charged.
The USB charging cable 7 and the USB-C port 5 are for charging the integrated battery only. They are not suitable for data transfer.
Charging Process
Use only a Class II USB power adapter approved for household appliances with an output voltage of 5 V === and an output current of max. 2 A to charge the appliance.
Use only the supplied USB charging cable 7 to charge the integrated battery. After charging is complete, remove the USB charging cable 7 from the appliance.
The appliance cannot be used during the charging process.

The battery charge status is indicated by the continuously lit bars. They mean:
- 1 bar: 20%
- 2 bars: 40%
- 3 bars: 60%
- 4 bars: 80%
- 5 bars: 100%
- Ensure that the marking on the ON/OFF switch 3 points to "0", so that the appliance is switched off.
- Connect the USB-A plug of the USB charging cable 7 to a suitable USB power adapter.
- Connect the USB-C plug of the USB charging cable 7 to the USB-C port 5 of the appliance.
- Plug the USB power adapter into a mains socket. The charge control indicator 4 shows the charging progress by flashing.
- As soon as all bars of the charge control indicator 4 are continuously lit, the battery is charged.
- Disconnect the USB power adapter from the mains socket and the USB charging cable 7 from the appliance.
Operation
Before Straightening
- The hair should be clean, dry, and free of styling products. Exceptions are special products that provide heat protection or help with straightening under heat.
- Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening to ensure there are no knots.
Turn On/Off and Select Heat Level
❗ ATTENTION! During operation and for cooling, always place the appliance on a non-combustible surface. This must also be observed during the heating process!
- If necessary, remove the protective cap 8.
- The appliance is secured by the lock 6. Press the heating plates 1 together and slide the lock 6 from the ? symbol to the ? symbol to unlock. The appliance can then be opened.
- To switch on the appliance, slide the ON/OFF switch 3 from "0" to the desired heat level. Select one of the following settings:
Level Temperature Recommended Use "I" 160°C For fine or slightly wavy hair. "II" 180°C For normal hair. "III" 200°C For stronger styling effects.
The indicator lights 2 show the selected temperature level and the appliance's operational readiness. The heating plates 1 begin to heat up.
ℹ️ Note: If you have colored or damaged hair, select a low temperature level. Note that straightening hair too frequently or too intensely with heat can damage the hair!
- Let the appliance heat up. The indicator light 2 flashes during the heating process. Start straightening as soon as the indicator light 2 is continuously lit.
- To switch off the appliance, slide the ON/OFF switch 3 back to "0". The indicator light 2 goes out.
- Let the appliance cool down before storing or cleaning it! Then press the heating plates 1 together, slide the lock 6 from the ? symbol to the ? symbol to lock. Place the protective cap 8 onto the appliance so that the open sides rest against the heating plates 1 (Fig. 1).

ℹ️ Note: The appliance is equipped with an automatic shut-off system: If the appliance is secured by the lock 6 but still switched on, the automatic shut-off will activate after approx. 3 minutes. The appliance will switch off automatically. The automatic shut-off is for safety only and does not replace switching off the appliance using the ON/OFF switch 3! If you wish to continue straightening, you must switch the appliance back on.
Straightening Hair
ℹ️ Note: The heating plates 1 must be free of dirt. If necessary, clean them before use as described in the "Cleaning" chapter.
- Prepare the hair as described in "Before Straightening".
- If you wish to straighten all your hair, start with the lower sections at the back of your head. If necessary, divide the entire hair into several sections and secure them with clips or similar. Then work from the sides towards the front. Separate a strand of hair approx. 2 cm wide, hold the tips of the strand firmly with one hand, and pull the strand slightly taut.
⚠️ CAUTION! Be careful not to touch the scalp or face with the heating plates 1. Never touch the heating plates 1 or the upper part of the hair straightener during use! Risk of burns!
- Clamp the strand of hair close to the scalp between the heating plates 1 and press them together.

- Straighten the entire strand of hair by gliding the appliance downwards from the root to the tips (see Fig. 2). Do not leave the appliance in one spot for more than 2 seconds to avoid over-stressing the hair. You can shape the hair tips slightly by rotating the appliance outwards or inwards. Release the hair tips when you have reached the end of the strand with the appliance, so you don't burn your fingers. Proceed in this way with each strand of hair you wish to straighten.
- When you have achieved the desired result, switch off the appliance.
- Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning or storing it.
Cleaning
⚠️ DANGER! Risk of death from electric shock! Before each cleaning, disconnect the USB power adapter from the mains socket and the charging cable from the appliance!
Never immerse the appliance and the USB charging cable 7 in water or other liquids! Ensure that no water or moisture penetrates the inside of the appliance!
⚠️ CAUTION! Let the appliance cool down before cleaning. Risk of burns!
❗ ATTENTION! Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents for cleaning the appliance. These can damage the surface and cause irreparable damage to the appliance.
- Wipe the appliance and the cooled heating plates 1 with a slightly damp cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, apply a mild cleaning agent to the cloth. Remove cleaning agent residue with a slightly damp cloth.
- Wipe with a dry cloth afterwards and let the appliance dry thoroughly before using or storing it again.
- Rinse the protective cap 8 in lukewarm water with a little dish soap. The protective cap 8 must be completely dry before being used again.
Storage
Store the appliance and accessories in a dry, dust-free place. Lock the cooled appliance with the lock 6 and put on the protective cap 8.
Charge the battery at regular intervals to ensure a long battery life.
Never store the appliance in a discharged state. Prolonged storage in a discharged state can lead to permanent damage to the battery. If the appliance is stored for a long period, the battery charge level must be checked regularly. The ideal charge level is between 50% - 80%.

Disposal
Device Disposal
The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that this appliance is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states that at the end of its service life, you must not dispose of this appliance with normal household waste, but must hand it in at specially designated collection points, recycling centers, or waste disposal companies.
This disposal is free of charge for you. Protect the environment and dispose of waste properly.
For the German market: When purchasing a new appliance, you have the right to return a corresponding old appliance to your dealer. Dealers of electrical and electronic equipment, as well as food retailers who regularly sell electrical and electronic equipment, are obliged to take back up to three old appliances free of charge, even without the purchase of a new appliance, if the old appliances are no larger than 25 cm in any dimension. LIDL offers return options directly in its stores and markets.
If your old appliance contains personal data, you are responsible for deleting it before returning it.
If possible without destroying the old appliance, remove used batteries or rechargeable batteries as well as lamps before returning the old appliance for disposal and hand them in for separate collection. For permanently installed batteries, it is important to inform the disposal entity that the appliance contains a battery. The permanently installed battery of this appliance cannot be removed for disposal.
For further disposal options for end-of-life products, please inquire with your local municipality or city administration.
Packaging Disposal
The packaging materials are selected according to environmentally friendly and disposal-technical aspects and are therefore recyclable. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with local regulations. Dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Pay attention to the markings on the various packaging materials and separate them if necessary. The packaging materials are identified with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings: 1-7: plastics, 20-22: paper and cardboard, 80-98: composites.

Dear Customer, This appliance comes with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. In case of defects with this product, you have legal rights against the product seller. These legal rights are not limited by our warranty, which we transcribe below.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt safe. This is required as proof of purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within three years from the date of purchase of this product, the product will be repaired or replaced by us, at our discretion, free of charge, or the purchase price will be refunded. This warranty service assumes that the defective appliance and proof of purchase (receipt) are presented within the three-year period, along with a brief written description of the fault and the circumstances under which it occurred.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, you will receive the repaired product or a new product. With the replacement of the product, a new warranty period begins according to DL 67/2003.
Warranty Period and Legal Claims
The warranty period is not extended by the activation of the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damage and defects that may already exist at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs required after the warranty period has expired are subject to a charge.
Scope of Warranty
The appliance has been manufactured according to strict quality guidelines, with the utmost care, and thoroughly tested before distribution.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects only. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, which can therefore be considered wear parts, or damage to fragile parts, e.g., switches, batteries, or glass parts.
This warranty is void if the product is damaged, used incorrectly, or if maintenance has been carried out improperly. To ensure correct use of the product, all instructions contained in the instruction manual must be followed precisely. Uses and actions that are discouraged, or for which you are warned in the instruction manual, must be strictly avoided.
The product is intended for private use only and not for commercial use. In case of misuse, improper handling, use of force, and interventions not carried out by our authorized service center, the warranty becomes void.
