Flow Switch Tee Installation

Overview

Instructions to install a mechanical flow switch to replace an electronic flow switch from an E-10 circulation pump (2009-2014) Reflections models.

Parts Needed

• 01510-190: 1/2" x 3/4" Barb Adapter
• 01710-130: 3/4" Flow Switch Assy
• 6541-075: 3/4" Barb Coupler
• Double Wire Hose Clamp (01150-30): 3/4"

Note: Requires 4 hose clamps.

Installation Steps

1. Drain the spa.
2. Cut the hose 1 inch away from the heater barb and the white PVC tee.
3. Disconnect the hose to the black Mazzei Tee.
4. Cut the hose on top.
5. Remove screw with hose retainer.
6. Install parts in this order:
   1. Glue barb adapter to flow switch tee. Insert hose clamps and install the flow switch tee with the arrow pointing towards the right.
   2. Cut the hose to length and attach to the Mazzei Tee.
   3. Cut the hose to length, install hose clamps, and attach hoses together with the barbed coupler. Install screw.

Model Specific Notes

For Bay models, the gray barb coupler is not needed and only 2 hose clamps are required.

Install the flow switch tee before or after the circulation pump.

• If installed before or on the suction side, the arrow should point towards the circulation pump.
• If installed after or on the discharge side, the arrow should point away from the circulation pump.
