Diagrams

Fire Pit Components: The fire pit features a burner, guard, control panel, igniter pin, thermocouple, regulator, and fuel hose.

Lava Rock Placement: Lava rocks should be placed in the fire pit, spread according to preference. Do not cover the guard or exceed 1/4 inch above the burner holes, as excessive rocks will suffocate the flame. The diagram shows a correct placement (check mark) and an incorrect placement (cross mark).

Tank Table Assembly

NOTE: Only use standard 20-pound propane tanks.

  1. Step 1: Screw the four Part E feet onto the Part C tank table. Adjust feet as necessary to level the tank table.
  2. Step 2: Place the propane tank on the Part D tank seat. Turn the wingnut clockwise to secure the tank.
  3. Step 3: Attach the fuel hose to the tank (refer to the 'Attaching Propane' section).
  4. Step 4: Place the tank table over the propane tank.

Attaching Propane

  1. Step 1: Ensure the release valve on the tank is firmly screwed shut.
  2. Step 2: Attach the fuel hose regulator to the output of the tank by turning the coupling nut clockwise.
  3. Step 3: Turn the release valve on the tank counterclockwise to release gas.

Control Panel

The control panel includes a control knob and an igniter button. The igniter is used to light the burner by pushing it.

Operating Instructions

WARNING: Before using this outdoor fire pit, please thoroughly read and follow all warnings and instructions. Failure to follow warnings and instructions may cause death, serious injury, or property damage.

NOTE: During first use, leave the fire pit ignited for 20 minutes as lava rocks may pop and cause injury.

  1. Step 1: Push and turn the control knob counterclockwise to the 'low/ignite' setting.
  2. Step 2: Press the ignitor button repeatedly to light the burner.
    • If flames do not ignite after 45 seconds, turn off the unit, wait 5 minutes, and try again.
    • If necessary, light the burner with a match or lighter.
  3. Step 3: Adjust flames using the control knob.
  4. Step 4: When finished, push and turn the control knob clockwise to the 'off' position.
  5. Step 5: Turn the valve on the propane tank clockwise to turn off gas flow.

Replacing Battery

If the burner is not lighting, the battery in the igniter may need replacement.

  1. Step 1: Unscrew the igniter button.
  2. Step 2: Insert a AAA battery with the positive side facing outwards.
  3. Step 3: Replace the igniter button.

Excess Flow Safety Device

If too much gas flows into the fire pit, the excess flow safety device will activate to reduce gas flow. To reset: turn the fire pit off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it on again.

If flames are still low after resetting, follow these steps:

  1. Step 1: Turn off the fire pit and turn off gas flow from the propane tank.
  2. Step 2: Disconnect the fuel hose from the tank.
  3. Step 3: Turn the control knob to 'high' and wait 5 minutes. Then, turn the control knob to 'off'.
  4. Step 4: Reconnect the fuel hose and turn on gas flow. After 30 seconds, light the fire pit.
