ALPHA WORKS AW-W38 BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

01 Precautions

Please read and follow these instructions carefully. Store and use the product at room temperature. Do not use near heat sources like stoves or amplifiers. Do not block speaker openings or insert objects into vents. Avoid damaging the music player. Ensure the connection line matches your device; contact the dealer if it does not. Maintain a moderate music player volume to prevent hearing impairment. Repairs must be performed by qualified technicians; unauthorized disassembly voids the warranty. Replace batteries only with qualified technicians to avoid danger. Do not disassemble, puncture, compress, or throw batteries into fire. Do not use swollen batteries. Do not place batteries in high-temperature environments or use them after they have been soaked in water. Dispose of batteries according to regulations, not by burning or immersing in water. If using a power adapter, ensure it is CCC certified and meets standard requirements.

02 Packing Details

The package includes the following items:

03 Button Function

The speaker features several control buttons and indicators:

Top Buttons:

• [Play/Pause Button]: Short press to play or pause music.
• [Volume Up Button]: Short press to increase volume. Long press to skip to the next track.
• [Volume Down Button]: Short press to decrease volume. Long press to skip to the previous track.
• [M Button]: Short press to switch between Bluetooth and AUX modes. Bluetooth mode is the default startup mode.

Side Button:

• [Power Button]: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on or off. Press and hold for 8 seconds to reset the device.

LED Indicators:

• Bluetooth Mode Indicator: Flashes green rapidly when waiting for pairing. Stays solid green when successfully connected.
• Charging Indicator:
  • Red LED: Charging (10%-20%)
  • Orange LED: Charging (20%-55%)
  • Green LED: Charging (55%-75%)
  • Solid Green LED: Fully Charged (>=75%)

04 Interface Function

The speaker has ports for power and audio input:

• [USB-C Charging Port]: Connect a DC5V-2A power adapter or a USB device for charging.
• [3.5mm Aux Port]: Insert an audio cable to switch the speaker to AUX mode. The unit will automatically switch to AUX mode when an audio cable is connected.

05 Bluetooth Connection

Follow these steps to connect your device via Bluetooth:

1. Enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode: Power on the speaker. Press and hold the [M Button] for 2 seconds. The indicator light will flash rapidly, indicating it is ready to pair.
2. Connect to Device: On your smart device (phone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings. Select "Alpha Works AW-W38" from the list of available devices. You will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator light will become solid green upon successful connection.

Tips:

• To disconnect from the current Bluetooth device and clear the pairing list, press and hold the [M Button] for 5 seconds.
• This speaker supports connecting to two smart devices simultaneously.

06 TWS Connection (True Wireless Stereo)

Connect two AW-W38 speakers for an enhanced stereo sound experience:

1. Initiate TWS Connection (Master Speaker): Power on one speaker and ensure it is in Bluetooth mode. Simultaneously short press the [+] and [-] buttons. You will hear a confirmation sound, indicating the speaker has entered TWS mode and is searching for a slave speaker.
2. Connect Slave Speaker: On the second speaker, short press the [-] button for 2 seconds to switch it to slave mode and connect it to the master speaker.
3. Successful TWS Connection: Both speakers will connect automatically. You will hear a confirmation sound. The master speaker's indicator will show Bluetooth status, while the slave speaker's indicator will remain solid blue.
4. Disconnect TWS: To disconnect the TWS pairing, simultaneously short press the [+] and [-] buttons on either speaker.
