The stylish and ergonomically designed chairman unit has all the necessary facilities to enable the user to chair a conference. It has excellent immunity to RF interference from mobile phones. Similar in appearance to the HCS-4891RD/82 Delegate Unit, the HCS-4891RC/82 Chairman Unit includes a microphone priority button. When pressed, the priority button causes all currently active delegate microphones to be switched off temporarily or permanently, allowing the chairman to take control of the meeting. A 4.3" touch screen can display speaking list, operation menu, etc.

Independent Operation from Computer

Set the number of delegates permitted to speak at the same time
Speak modes: Open/Override/Voice/Request/PTT
"Open" mode: Microphone On/Off button with request-to-speak registration (AUTO)
"Override" mode: Microphone On/Off button controls override of active microphones (FIFO)
"Voice" mode: Acoustic active sensitivity and automatic switch-off time adjustable, with "flash-on" technology for immediate microphone activation
"Request" mode: Delegate requests to speak by pressing the microphone On/Off button; speaks when approved
"PTT" mode: Press microphone On/Off button to talk
Automatic video tracking implementation when cooperating with cameras & video switcher units; preset positions on PC
Activation at any time if the number of active microphones is less than 8
Priority button to switch off or mute delegate units (except VIP units) according to preset
Approves/denies delegates' speaking requests
System supports up to 100 chairman units, with control facilities listed above (set by software or main unit)
