User Instructions for Half Face Respirator

Important Information

Before use, the wearer must read and understand these User Instructions.

Use Instructions

  1. Instructions and restrictions shall be followed during use. Improper use may affect the efficacy of respirators and may result in sickness or death.
  2. Training on proper use of the respirator should be conducted/received before use.
  3. Leave contaminated area immediately if you smell or taste contaminants or if dizziness, suffocation, or other distress occurs.
  4. Store respirator away from contaminated areas when not in use.

Use Limitations

  1. This respirator does not supply oxygen. Do not use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5% oxygen.
  2. If the type or concentration of pollutants is unknown, or the type or concentration of pollutants exceeds the protection object or concentration range of this respirator, this respirator is not allowed to be used.
  3. Do not alter, abuse or misuse this respirator.

Warm Tips

The respirator itself has no smell. Some customers may be more sensitive to smell. You can clean the facepiece (excluding filters and cartridges) to eliminate odors or place it in a ventilated place to release the peculiar smell.

Assembly Instructions

The following steps describe how to assemble the respirator. This process involves attaching cartridges or filters to the facepiece.

  1. Align the cartridge or filter notch with the facepiece mark.
  2. Turn the cartridge or filter 1/4 turn clockwise to lock it in place. To remove the cartridge, turn it 1/4 turn counter-clockwise.
  3. Repeat the process for the second cartridge or filter.

Tightness Test

  1. Position the headband rack on the back of the head. Pull back the buckle of the elastic band and secure the respirator over the mouth, nose, and chin.
  2. Pull the lower elastic band to the back of the neck, tighten the fasteners, and adjust the length of the elastic band for a comfortable fit.
  3. Breathe in vigorously and check for any leakage between the respirator and the face. Adjust as needed to achieve an ideal seal.
  4. If the sealing is not adequate, do not enter the contaminated area. Re-adjust the respirator or replace it if necessary.

Cleaning

  1. Remove cartridges and/or filters before cleaning.
  2. Clean the facepiece (excluding filters and cartridges) by immersing it in warm cleaning solution. The water temperature should not exceed 120°F (49°C). Scrub with a soft brush until clean.
  3. Rinse the facepiece in fresh, warm water and allow it to air dry in a non-contaminated atmosphere.
  4. The cleaned respirator should be stored away from contaminated areas when not in use.

Attention and Maintenance

  1. The cartridge or filter should be replaced regularly based on the operating environment.
  2. The respirator should be cleaned and maintained regularly.
  3. Inspect the respirator before each use to ensure it is in good working condition. If any damage is found, discard the respirator immediately.
  4. Store the respirator in a ventilated and cool place, avoiding environments with high temperatures, direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme cold.
  5. Filters must be kept in their sealed packaging. The validity period for an unopened filter is 5 years.
