2. Parts List

3. Installation Method for Helmet Application
Follow these steps to install the intercom kit on your helmet:
- Step 1: Loosen the screws on the back of the clamp with the provided screwdriver.
- Step 2: Open the lining of the helmet. Insert the clamp in the proper position on the left side of the helmet and fasten the screw. (Note: Overtightening the screw can damage the clamp).
- Step 3: Slide the receiver down into the slots on the headset clamp mount. Ensure it is locked securely.
- Step 4: Open the lining of the helmet at the ear's position. Clean the EPS surface and affix the Velcro with the rough surface.
- Step 5: Affix the hook surface of the speaker to the rough surface of the Velcro and properly tidy the helmet lining.
- Step 6: Insert the headphone plug into the corresponding headphone jack on the receiver to finish the installation.
4. Product Controls
The Bluetooth device features several controls:
- Multi-function Button (MFB): Used for various functions like answering/ending calls, redialing, and music control.
- Jog Wheel: Used for navigating channels, songs, and adjusting volume.
- On/Off and Intercom Button: Used for powering the device on/off and initiating/ending intercom calls.
- LED Indicator Light: Provides visual feedback on the device's status.
- Charger and Headphone Jack: Ports for charging and connecting the headset.
- Headset Plug: Connects the headphones/microphone to the device.
- Microphone: Captures voice input.
- Ear Speaker: Delivers audio output.
5. Functions and Operation of Buttons
5.1 On/Off and Intercom Button
Action | Description |

5.1.1 On | Press down for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. The blue light will flash 3 times swiftly and then turn into regular intervals. |
5.1.2 Off | Press down for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. The blue light will be on for a while and then die out. |
5.1.3 Start the Bluetooth Intercom | Shortly press the button on either one of the two paired FDCs, and a voice prompt will be heard after completing the intercom connection. |
5.1.4 End the Bluetooth Intercom | Shortly press the button, and the intercom closes after a "bee" prompt tone. |
5.1.5 Switch Between Intercom and Music/FM Radio | Shortly press the button, and a “bee” prompt tone can be heard. |
5.2 Multi-function Button (MFB)
Action | Description |

5.2.1 Answer calls | Press the MFB once. The incoming call will answer automatically once the phone has rung for 15 seconds. |
5.2.2 Reject calls | Press down the MFB for 2 seconds until you hear a beep. |
5.2.3 Ending the call | Press the MFB once to end the call. |
5.2.4 Redial the last number | Press and hold the MFB for 2 seconds until you hear "bee" and release your finger. |
5.2.5 Play/Pause FM radio | Double press the MFB to start/stop FM Radio. (When there is no call or intercom). |
5.2.6 Play/Pause Music | Press the MFB once to start/stop music on your phone when the music player is running. |
5.2.7 Switch Between Music and FM Radio | Shortly press the MFB once for music, double press the MFB for FM Radio. |
5.2.8 To Answer a Call While Listening to Music | Calls will automatically come through the headset while music is playing. Music will hold over the call duration and resume automatically once the call has ended. |
5.3 Jog Wheel

5.3.3 Volume control | Volume Up by turning the Jog Wheel anticlockwise and holding until the volume reaches the desired level. Volume Down by turning the Jog Wheel clockwise and holding until the volume reaches the desired level. You will hear a long beep if the volume reaches the highest or lowest level. |
6. Pairing Methods
6.1 Pairing with Mobile Phone, MP3 and GPS
To pair your FDC VB with a mobile phone, MP3 player, or GPS device:
- Step 1: Ensure the FDC is off and within 1 meter visible range of the Bluetooth device to be paired.
- Step 2: Press and hold the FDC On/Off and Intercom button for 8 seconds until the red and blue lights flash alternatively. This indicates the FDC has entered pairing status.
- Step 3: Start the Bluetooth device you wish to pair. Search for and select "FDC VB". When the blue light flashes regularly, pairing is successful.
6.2 Pairing Between Two FDCs
To pair two FDC devices with each other:
- Step 1: Ensure both FDCs are off and within 1 meter visible range of each other.
- Step 2: Press and hold both FDCs' On/Off and Intercom buttons for 8 seconds until the red and blue lights flash alternatively. Both FDCs will enter pairing status.
- Step 3: Quickly press the On/Off button on either FDC. It will then search for the other FDC for pairing. When the blue light flashes regularly, pairing is successful.
6.3 Pairing between three FDCs
To pair three FDC devices (A, B, and C) with each other:
- Step 1: Firstly, pair device A and B as described above. Secondly, turn off A and B, then pair A and C as described in section 6.2. Thirdly, turn off C and A, then pair B and C as described in section 6.2. Finally, turn on A.
- Step 2: To initiate calls:
- Pressing the On/Off and Intercom button of A: 1 time to call C, 2 times to call B.
- Pressing the button of B: 1 time to call C, 2 times to call A.
- Pressing the button of C: 1 time to call B, 2 times to call A.
7. Charging the Bluetooth® Device
Follow these instructions for charging your device:
- Before using this device, fully charge the Bluetooth® device.
- The red light will be on during recharging and will turn off when the battery is full.
Tips:
- Tip 1: To maintain long life from the internal polymer battery, charge your device at least once each month.
- Tip 2: If the red light is off while charging, the voltage may be too low. It is recommended to charge for 0.5-1 hours and then recheck if the Bluetooth receiver is successfully charged.

9. About Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your device:
- Do not place the product at very high (or low) temperatures. An optimum storage environment is between -40 to +60 degrees Celsius; otherwise, it will affect the product's life.
- Keep away from fire.
- Keep away from sharp objects, as they may cause scratches or damage to the product.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the FDC.
- For long periods of non-use, please store the FDC in a dry place and ensure it is charged once per month to guarantee performance.
10. Tips & Troubleshooting

The audio reception breaks down. | Bluetooth-enabled devices are susceptible to occasional interference from other common devices such as GPS units, laptops, alarms, and Wi-Fi routers, etc. Move away from potential sources of interference if you are experiencing problems. |
I can't hear my music / incoming calls. | Check the volume on the attached device. Setting your phone or MP3 player to the maximum volume usually resolves this issue. |
