The following describes the connections for the MC900B amplifier:

CAUTION: Do not ground or short the PINK antenna wire.

Before Installing This Product

To prevent electrical shorts, disconnect the negative battery cable before installation. Use this unit with a 12-volt battery and negative grounding only. Failure to do so may result in fire or malfunction.

When replacing the fuse, use only the specified rating. Cover any disconnected leads with insulating tape to prevent short circuits. Ensure the ground cable is properly connected to metal parts of the vehicle's body frame or directly to the battery if the chassis is not grounded. Connect the amplifier's ground cable and any second powered system's ground cable separately to the frame.

Suggested Mounting Methods

The MC900B can be mounted in three configurations:

  1. Flush Mount: Requires a cutout with dimensions 3-3/16" W x 1-11/16" H (82mm x 43mm).
  2. Surface Mount: Uses recessed screw holes in the bezel for the included oval-head screws.
  3. Handlebar Mount: Use the provided pan-head screws and stainless steel clamp. Securely tighten the clamp to fit your application.

Tip: To release the MC900B controller from the mounting bezel, insert a small jeweler's screwdriver into the left/right slots of the bezel.

Getting to Know Your MC900B Multifunction Controller (MFC)

Bluetooth Operation

Pairing & Discovering a New Bluetooth Connection

1. Power on the MC900B by pressing and holding the Power [▶️/SRC] button for 2 seconds. The Bluetooth blue LED will flash, and a confirmation tone will be heard, indicating it's ready for pairing.

Note: You have 2 minutes to complete pairing.

2. With the MC900B in pairing mode:

3. If "MC900B" is not visible, refresh the "Device List".

4. A confirmation tone will sound upon successful connection. You can now stream music.

Reconnection

1. Power on the MC900B and your last paired Bluetooth device.

2. The unit will automatically reconnect, and a confirmation tone will be heard.

3. If your device was previously paired but not the last one: Ensure no other devices are paired, go to your device's Bluetooth Menu, select "MC900B" under AVAILABLE DEVICES to reconnect.

4. If the device is out of range, it will disconnect. To reconnect, press the Power [▶️/SRC] button once when the device is back in range.

Clearing Previously Paired Devices Memory

1. Quickly press the Power [▶️/SRC] button twice. All BLUE LEDs will flash.

2. Press and hold the Play/Pause [▶️/⏸️] button for 10 seconds. A confirmation tone will be heard, LEDs will stop flashing, and only the BT LED will flash.

3. Pair a new device as described above.

Tip: To avoid battery exhaustion, run the vehicle's engine while using the product.

Streaming Music

Multifunction Controller Bluetooth Operation

1. Press the Play/Pause [▶️/⏸️] button to start or pause music. You can also use the PLAY button on your device.

2. To skip tracks forward, press the Next Track [⏭️] button. Press and hold for fast forward.

3. To skip tracks backward, press the Previous Track [⏮️] button. Press and hold for fast rewind.

Volume Control

1. To raise volume, press the Volume Up [?+] button.

2. To lower volume, press the Volume Down [?-] button.

Tip: Set the Bluetooth volume level on your device to its 100% level.

Aux-Input

Aux-In Operation

The MC900B can play audio from any device with a 3.5mm headphone audio jack.

1. Power on the MC900B by pressing and holding the Power [▶️/SRC] button for 2 seconds.

2. Short press the Power [▶️/SRC] button again. The controller LED will turn RED, indicating AUX-IN mode.

3. Bluetooth devices will remain paired even in AUX-IN mode.

4. Connect the amplifier's integrated RCA AUX-IN cable to a 3.5mm adaptor (adaptor not included).

5. Route audio wires securely.

Volume Control

1. To raise volume, press the Volume Up [?+] button.

2. To lower volume, press the Volume Down [?-] button.

3. To mute/unmute volume, press the Play/Pause [▶️/⏸️] button.

Tip: Set the headphone volume level on your device to its 100% level.

This transmitter must not be co-located or operated with any other antenna or transmitter. The Bluetooth antenna cannot be removed or replaced by the user. This equipment complies with FCC/IC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment and meets FCC radio frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines and RSS-102 of IC radio frequency (RF) Exposure rules. It is desirable that the equipment be installed and operated with the radiator at least 20 cm from a person's body.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits. These limits provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. If interference occurs, try relocating the antenna, increasing separation, or connecting to a different circuit.
