Thank you for purchasing our product. This manual explains how to print from your multifunction device using Mopria Print Service. Please read this manual carefully before using the device.

Chapter 1: Using Mopria Print Service
Before Using Mopria Print Service
Mopria Print Service Requirements
To print from your mobile device using Mopria Print Service, the following are required:
- Android device with Mopria Print Service installed
- Mopria Print Service compatible multifunction device

Points of Caution and Restrictions
- If you are using an optional wireless LAN module, ensure that the wireless LAN settings are complete. For wireless LAN settings, refer to the Setup Management Guide.
- In TopAccess, confirm that the following settings are enabled:
- Use Bonjour
- Use IPP Printing
- For setup methods, refer to the following pages in this manual:
- P.12 'Use Bonjour'
- P.12 'Use IPP Printing'
- In environments where the super sleep function is enabled, select [Bonjour for IPv4] / [Bonjour for IPv6] in TopAccess [Administrator] tab > [Setup] > [General] > [Power Saving Mode Settings] > [Network Wake-up Settings]. For details, refer to the following pages in this manual:
- P.12 'Wake-up Setting from Super Sleep Mode'
- When using in an environment where user authentication is enabled, select [Enabled] for [Use SSL/TLS] and [Basic] for [Authentication] in TopAccess [Administrator] tab > [Setup] > [Print Services] > [IPP Printing]. For details, refer to the following pages in this manual:
- P.12 'Settings for Printing with Mopria Print Service when User Authentication is Enabled'
- Cannot be used in environments where department codes are enabled. For department codes, refer to the TopAccess Guide.
- Cannot be used in high-security mode. For high-security mode, refer to the High-Security Mode Management Guide.
- Depending on the specifications of the application used for printing, monochrome data may be treated as color data.
- Encrypted PDF files cannot be printed using Mopria Print Service.
Printing from Android OS Devices
Setup
Perform setup from the settings menu.
- Open 'Settings' and tap 'Connected devices'.
- Tap 'Connection preferences'.
- Tap 'Printing'.Note: If 'Printing' is not displayed, search for printing services.
- Tap 'Mopria Print Service'.
- Slide the switch to turn it 'ON'. If a message asking for confirmation to use Mopria Print Service is displayed, tap 'OK'.
Mopria-certified printers will start searching, and the results will be displayed in a list. Setup is now complete.
Supplement: Your multifunction device will appear in the printer search results as 'TOSHIBA e-STUDIOXXXXX'.
Basic Printing Method
You can print using the following basic steps.
- Open the data you want to print in the application on your mobile device.
- Tap the 'Print' or 'Share' menu. The menu names and operation procedures may vary depending on your application.
- Select the printer. If switching multifunction devices, tap the displayed multifunction device name or 'All printers'.
- Change print settings as needed and tap [Print]. Printing will be executed.
Changing Print Settings
As needed, set print functions such as number of copies, paper size, color selection, paper orientation, pages, etc.
- Note: Some settings cannot be changed depending on the application or type of print data.
- Note: Whether to print in full color or grayscale depends on the application and print data.
TopAccess Settings
TopAccess has settings related to Mopria Print Service. Please configure them as needed.
Supplement: To change settings related to Mopria Print Service, you need to log in to TopAccess with administrator privileges. For TopAccess operation methods, please refer to the TopAccess Guide.
Using Bonjour
From the [Administrator] tab > [Setup] > [Network] > [Bonjour], set [Use Bonjour] to [Enabled].
Using IPP Printing
From the [Administrator] tab > [Setup] > [Print Services] > [IPP Printing], set [Use IPP Printing] to [Enabled].
Wake-up Setting from Super Sleep Mode
When using Mopria Print Service, you can wake up the multifunction device from super sleep mode. In the [Administrator] tab > [Setup] > [General] > [Power Saving Mode Settings] > [Network Wake-up Settings], check [Bonjour for IPv4] / [Bonjour for IPv6].
Settings for Printing with Mopria Print Service when User Authentication is Enabled
From the [Administrator] tab > [Setup] > [Print Services] > [IPP Printing], select [Enabled] for [Use SSL/TLS] and select [Basic] for [Authentication].
- Note: When using Windows domain authentication or LDAP authentication, enter in the format 'username@domain name'.
- Note: If you are using Android's default printing service, user authentication or Basic authentication cannot be used.
