ATTENTION INSTALLER (if other than owner): Please forward this instruction sheet to the purchaser of this product as it contains valuable information necessary to the end user. CAUTION: Start screw carefully to avoid cross threading. USE AND CARE: Wash your accessories with the same care you use when washing your motorcycle. Use mild soap and water. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals, cleaners. We recommend the use of non-abrasive automobile wax to polish our chrome products. This will best maintain the appearance of the product and increase longevity. WARNING: Never carry more than 10 lbs. on rack, and always secure cargo properly. Failure to do so can affect handling. Make sure neither cargo straps are loose nor come in contact with moving parts, i.e., wheels, brakes, etc.... TOOLS REQUIRED: #2 Phillips Screw Driver Kit #3 PARTS INCLUDED: MWL Part # 2 Phillips ¾" Pan Machine Screw FAS-009 2 nylon washers FAS-003 2 stainless steel washers FAS-005 1 foam tabs FOAM-FWD 1 foam tabs FOAM-AFT MOUNTING PROCEDURE: 1) Install foam on back of the rack. 2) Place rack on fender mounting points. (The forward mount sits on top of the driver's seat) 3) Install the stock screw in to rear pick up point on the rack. (DO NOT TIGHTEN) 4) For the front mount, place the nylon washer on the rack with the stainless steel on top. 5) From there insert the supplied Phillips screw loosely. 6) Proceed to tighten both screws down.
