Safety Information
DANGER
Electrical Hazard. Avoid contact with water and electricity. Ensure power sources are protected by an RCD when using 100-240V AC.
WARNING
Electrical Hazard. Do not use damaged plugs or cords. Ensure only Dometic approved accessories are used. Repairs must be done by qualified personnel.
CAUTION
Electrical Hazard. Connect the positive (+) terminal of the power source to the positive (+) input of the cooler, and the negative (-) terminal to the negative (-) input. Ensure correct polarity.
Handling: Ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface and ventilation openings are clear.
Handling: Do not expose the unit to rain or immerse in water.
Handling: Ensure a minimum clearance of 50 mm (2 inches) around the unit for proper ventilation.

Product Features and Connections
The Dometic CFX3 series offers versatile power options:

Operation:
- Connecting to DC Power: Connect the positive (+) terminal of the power source (e.g., vehicle battery) to the DC input (+) on the cooler and the negative (-) terminal to the DC input (-) on the cooler. Ensure correct polarity.
- Connecting to AC Power: Plug the AC power cord into the AC input socket on the cooler and then into a 100-240V AC mains outlet.
- Turning On/Off: Press the power button to turn the cooler on or off.
- Storage: When switching off and storing, ensure the unit is clean and dry.
Handling and Installation:
- Ensure adequate ventilation with at least 50 mm (2 inches) clearance around the unit.
- Do not block ventilation openings.
- Do not place the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Avoid carrying the unit by its lid or internal parts.
- When unpacking, use caution to avoid damaging the unit with sharp objects.
- Do not place the unit in water or a wet environment.
Control Panel and Settings
The control panel allows for various settings:
- Locking/Unlocking: Press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the control panel.
- Temperature Units: Navigate to 'Temp units' and select between Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
- Setting Temperature: Use the up/down arrows to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows the current set temperature.
- Battery Protection: The battery protection feature prevents over-discharge. Select a level (Low, Medium, High) based on your vehicle's battery voltage. The table provides voltage thresholds for 12V and 24V systems:

- Bluetooth: Manage Bluetooth connection: ON, OFF, or PAIR.
- WiFi: Manage WiFi connection: ON, OFF, or RESET. Confirm reset when prompted.
- Factory Reset: Press and hold the power and WiFi buttons for 3 seconds to reset the device to factory defaults.
Model-Specific Features:
- CFX3 55IM: Includes an Ice Maker function.
- CFX3 75DZ / CFX3 95DZ: Feature Zone Control with options for Both On, Large On, or Small On.
Intended Use and Warranty
Intended Use
The Dometic CFX3 is suitable for:
- Operation in vehicles
- Cooling and deep-freezing food
- Camping use
The device is not suitable for:
- Storage of corrosive, caustic, or solvent-containing substances
- Quick-freezing of food

Warranty
Contact your retailer or Dometic's branch for warranty service. The warranty is 3 years (full) plus an additional 2 years for the compressor (parts only).
For warranty claims, include a copy of the receipt and a description of the fault.
Australia: Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply.
New Zealand: Warranty is subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993(NZ).
Disposal
Dispose of packaging material in appropriate recycling bins ♻️. For product disposal, contact your local recycling centre or specialist dealer for guidance on applicable regulations.

- Electrocution Hazard: Do not operate if the power cable is visibly damaged. Damaged cables must be replaced by qualified personnel. Repairs should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Health Hazard: This device can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised and instructed. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by children require supervision. Children aged 3-8 can load/unload the device.
- Explosion Hazard: Do not store explosive substances like aerosol cans with flammable propellants in the cooler.
CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or moderate injury.
- Fire Hazard: Ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged. Do not use multiple power supplies at the rear. Keep ventilation openings clear. Do not use mechanical objects to speed up defrosting. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
- Health Hazard: Ensure the cooling capacity is suitable for your needs. Store food in original or suitable containers. Opening the lid for extended periods can increase internal temperature.
- Notice! Damage Hazard: Carry the cooling device upright. Check voltage specifications match the power supply. Do not use unauthorized electrical devices inside.
- Hazard from excessively low temperature: Only place intended items in the cooler. Do not expose the device to rain.
