Getting Started

Power On/Off

Long press the power button [Power Button] for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on for Bluetooth pairing or to turn it off. A voice prompt will confirm the action.

Bluetooth Connection

With the speaker in Bluetooth pairing mode, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone. Select "Xiaomi Sound Party" from the pairing list and connect. A successful pairing will be indicated by an alert.

To disconnect the current Bluetooth connection and re-enter pairing mode, short press the [Bluetooth Button]. A brief press will not disconnect the current connection but will enter a secondary Bluetooth pairing mode.

Audio Modes

Stereo Pairing

Short press the [Stereo Pair Button] on both speakers. The two speakers will automatically pair in left and right channels. To disconnect, briefly press the button on either speaker.

Multi-speaker Pairing & Broadcast Mode

This feature allows connecting multiple speakers for an enhanced audio experience, supporting up to 100 "Xiaomi Sound Party" pairs simultaneously.

• Exiting Broadcast Mode: When the speaker is in broadcast mode, short press the [Multi-speaker Button] to initiate TWS grouping and exit broadcast mode.
• Entering Broadcast Mode: When the speaker is in TWS mode, long press the master speaker's button for 3 seconds to exit TWS and enter broadcast mode master state. The slave speaker, when long-pressed, enters broadcast mode slave discovery status.
• Automatic Pairing: When speakers are connected to Bluetooth, long press the [Multi-function Button] on each speaker for 3 seconds to automatically pair all speakers.

Pairing Scenarios:

• State 1: One speaker connected and playing, others not. Long press button (3s) on all speakers to auto-pair into broadcast mode group.
• Status 2: If all speakers are connected to Bluetooth, broadcast mode pairing may fail. Mobile devices connected via Bluetooth cannot be teamed up in broadcast mode.
• Status 3: If one speaker is connected to Bluetooth in broadcast mode without playing music, and others are not connected, a long press (3s) on all speakers enters broadcast mode pairing but does not successfully team up.

To disconnect, press the button on each speaker.

Calls & Controls

Making and Receiving Calls

When connected to a smartphone, an incoming call will pause music and play a ringtone. Short press the [Call Button] to answer or end a call. Long press the [Call Button] for 1 second to reject a call.

During a call, long press the [Call Button] for more than 1 second to switch audio between the phone and the speaker.

Lighting Function

Under power-on condition, short press the [Light Button] to cycle through light effects: White, Orange, Dark Yellow, Light Red, Magenta. Double tap quickly to turn the "abyss mirror" light effect off; a short tap turns it back on.

Bass Enhancement

Short press the [BASS Button] to activate Bass Boost. The button's backlight will remain on. Short press again to turn off Bass Boost, and the backlight will extinguish. The speaker remembers the Bass Boost status when powered off and on again.

NFC Pairing

In NFC mode, bring your smartphone's NFC area close to the speaker's NFC position. A pairing confirmation message will appear on the smartphone. The connected device will disconnect from Bluetooth, and the paired device will connect to the speakers as it approaches.

Restore Factory Settings

When the device is powered on, press and hold two buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. All white lights will illuminate for 2 seconds before turning off, indicating the reset.

Important Safety Information

Read all safety information before using the device:

• Using unauthorized cables, power adapters, or batteries may cause fire, explosion, or other risks. Use only authorized accessories compatible with your device.
• Operating Temperature Range: 0°C to 40°C. Relative Humidity: 20% to 80% (non-condensing). Storage Temperature: -10°C to 50°C. Storage Humidity: 10% to 90% (non-condensing). Operation outside these ranges may damage the device. Recommended service life is 18 months.
• Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery yourself.
• Charge only with included or authorized cables/adapters.
• Disconnect the adapter after charging is complete. Do not charge for more than 26 hours.
• Recycle or dispose of batteries separately from household waste. Mishandling can cause fire or explosion. Follow local regulations for disposal.
• Do not disassemble, hit, crush, or burn the battery. Stop use if deformed or damaged.
• Avoid short-circuiting the battery to prevent overheating or injury.
• Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments; overheating may cause explosion.
• Users must not remove or alter the battery. Repairs must be done by authorized centers.
• Keep the device dry.
• Do not attempt self-repair. Contact Xiaomi customer support or an authorized repair center for issues.
• Connect other devices according to their manuals; do not connect incompatible devices.
• For AC/DC adapters, the socket-outlet should be near the equipment and easily accessible.

Caution:

• Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
• Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.
• Improper battery disposal (fire, hot oven, crushing, cutting, extreme temperatures, low pressure) can result in explosion or leakage.

The product has been tested for dust/water resistance and meets IP67 rating. However, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or use in high-temperature or corrosive environments. Normal wear, disassembly, or dropping may reduce water resistance. Avoid drops and impacts. Charge regularly to maintain battery performance. If any abnormality occurs during use or charging, stop use immediately, place the product in a safe location, and seek inspection/repair from a service station.

Xiaomi does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Damages from non-compliance with instructions are excluded. Hardware defects found within the warranty period will be repaired, replaced, or refunded according to local laws.

Normal wear and tear, force majeure, abuse, or damage due to user negligence are not covered. After-sales service contacts include Xiaomi's authorized service network, distributors, or the final vendor.

This warranty does not apply in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Products not duly imported, manufactured, or acquired from Xiaomi or its official sellers are not covered. Xiaomi advises contacting the retailer for warranty claims on such products.

To facilitate resource utilization, please return this product to an authorized collection center, dismantler, or recycler. The Wheelie Bin symbol [Bin Symbol] indicates that e-waste should not be disposed of in municipal bins due to its hazardous nature and need for special recycling.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits per Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
