EN Basic Information
PLEASE NOTE: The instruction s within th is u ser ma nual will refer to th e bu tton number on the radio e.g. (Ref. 'numb er') in accordance with the diagrams from pag es 4 -5.
Remove packaging and prepare the radio for use. Position the radio where you have good radio signal for best reception.
Unwind the USB Type-C cable included in the box and insert it into a suitable USB Type -C plug rated at 12V 2A (not included ). Connect the radio to a mains s ocket for charging.
PLEASE NOTE: We stro ngly advise using the recommended USB Typ e-C plug. Us in g an alterna tive plug may result in imp rop er cha rging a nd could sh orten the b attery's lifespan .
The radio req uires a full charging cycle of approximately five to six hours. It can be charged while in us e or when powered off. During charging, a red LED indicator light will flash on the right side of the radio display. Once the battery is fully charged, the red LED light will remain steady. When the battery level is low, a "Battery Low" mes sage will appear on the radio s creen. Thirty seconds after this message is dis played, the radio will automatically power off and require recharging. Please note tha t the red LED indica tor light is on ly visible wh en the radio is plugged into the ma in s.
Once fully charged, you can enjoy your portable radio.
Power ON/OFF Press the 'Power ON/OFF' button (Ref.2) to switch the radio on or off.
Mode Switch Press the 'Mo de' b utton (Ref.3) repeatedly to change the radio mode into DAB,FM, Bluetooth or AUX IN.
USB C harging Port The USB charging port is a DC 5V1.0A (Ref.16) and can be us ed to charge a phone.

DAB Radio EN

DAB Radio Mode

Place the Majority Landbeach in a location with good radio reception. Fully extend the radio antenna before use to get the best possible radio signal.

Press the `MODE' butto n (Ref.3) repeatedly to change the radio mode into 'DAB'.
Scanning for DAB Stations

·

While in DAB mode, press the `SCAN' button (Ref.8) to initiate a full automatic scan for DAB

radio stations available in your area.

·

The radio will search for and save all stations found with a good s ignal automatically.

·

Once the s can is complete, the radio will begin playing the first station found with a strong

signal.

·

Use the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons (Ref.9, 11) to scroll through the station list.

·

Press the `OK/ Play/Paus e' button (Ref.10) to play a selected station.

Saving and Recalling Favourite DAB Stations (Presets)

In DAB mode, the Majority Landbeach has 40 preset slots for savin g your favourite radio station s. Follow these steps to store and recall presets:

Storing a Station

·

Whilst lis tening to a DAB radio station, press and h old the `Preset' button (Ref.7) for

3 seco nds to access the `Preset Store' list.

·

Use the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons (Ref.9, 11) to select an empty slot where you want

to save the station.

·

Press the `OK' bu tton (Ref.10) to confirm. The display will sho w `Preset X Stored' (X

indicates the chosen s lo t).

Recalling a Station

·

To recall a saved station, press the `Preset' button (Ref.7) briefly to ac cess the `Preset

Recall' list.

·

Use the PREV an d NEXT b uttons (Ref.9, 11) to navigate the list of saved stations.

·

Press the `OK' bu tton to start playing the selected station.

EN DAB Radio
DAB Radio Station Information
Whilst playing, short press the 'IN FO/MEN U' button (Ref.4) repeated ly to view information about the radio s tation, including: Signal strength, DAB band and frequency, Type of conten t being played , Signal error rate, Time and date.
DAB Radio Settings Menu
While in DAB Mode, press and hold the 'IN FO/MEN U' button (Ref.4) for 3 seconds to acces s the DAB Settings Menu. Use the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons (Ref.9, 11) to navigate through the menu. P res s the 'OK' button to select and enter any of the following options: Full Scan Perform a full scan to search for available DAB stations at any time. Manual Tune Manually search for radio statio ns based on the DAB band. DRC (Dynamic Range Compression) Dynamic Range Compression is an audio signal processing feature that reduces the volume of loud sounds or amplifies quiet sounds, effectively compress ing the audio signal's dynamic range. Choose between the following levels: Lo w, High, or Off. Pru ne The Prune feature removes stations that are no longer trans mitting or have changed frequency. Select 'Yes' to activate and press 'OK' to confirm. Select 'No' to leave this feature deactivated. System Enter this section to acces s the radio's main 'System Menu' and adjust settings according to your preferences, such as Equaliser, Time, Backlight, Language, or to process a Factory Reset. (For detailed d escriptions, refer to p ages 12 & 13).

FM Radio EN

FM Radio Mode

EN FM Radio

FM Radio Station Information
Whilst playing, press the 'INFO /MENU' button (Ref.4) repeatedly to view information available about the radio s tation from the FM radio station provider.
In FM mode, not all stations have this feature.

FM Radio Settings Menu

Whilst in FM Mode, press and hold the 'INFO/MENU' button (Ref.4) for 3 seconds to acces s the FM Settings Menu. Use the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons (Ref.9, 11) to navigate through the menu. P res s the 'OK' button to select and enter any of the following options:

Scan Settings ­ There are two optio ns available in this section: 'Stron g Stations' and 'All

Stations'. Select 'Strong Stations' to save only radio stations with a strong signal or select

'All Stations' to save all found s tations regardless of signal quality.

·

Audio Settings ­ Most FM stations are broadcas t in Mono audio rather than Stereo. By

selecting 'Forced Mono', you can improve the radio signal for some stations. If the station is

broadcas ting in Stereo, you can choose 'Stereo' for better audio quality.

·

System ­ Enter this section to acces s the radio's main 'System Menu' and adjust settings

according to your preferences, such as the Equalis er, Time, Backlight, Language, or to

process a Factory Reset. (For detailed descriptions, refer to pages 12 & 13).

Bluetooth Mode EN
The Majority Landbeach can be paired with a phone, tablet, MP3 player, CD p layer, or any other Bluetooth-enabled device to play audio via the rad io 's speaker. · Switch the radio on by pressing the 'Power ON/ OFF' button (Ref.2). · Switch to Bluetooth mode: Press the 'Mode' button (Ref.3) to change the mode into
Bluetooth. The radio screen will display 'Pairing' whilst searching for a device to connect. · Activate Bluetooth on your device and search for available devices. Select 'Majority
Landbeach' from the list to connect. · Once paired s ucces sfully, the radio screen will display 'BT Connected '. You can now play audio
from your device through the Majority Landbeach speaker.
Whilst in Bluetooth Mo de, you can use th e followin g contro ls /butto ns: · Play/Paus e: Press the 'OK/P LAY/ PAU SE' button (Ref.10) to pause or resume audio playback. · Next/Previous Track: Use the 'PREV' or 'NEXT' buttons (Ref.9, 11) to skip tracks. · Volume Control: Use the 'VOLUME -' or 'VOLUME +' buttons to ad ju st the volume. Please Note: The volume is synchronised with your device, so you can control it either fro m you r device o r directly from the ra dio.
To Disconnect or Pair with a New Device ·To unpair/disconnect the radio, remo ve 'Majo rity Landbeach' from the Bluetooth device list on your connected device. ·To pair with a new device, first remove 'Majority Land beach' from the previously connected device list, then follow the steps above to pair the new device.
PLEASE N OTE: The Majority La ndbeach Ra dio cannot be paired with Bluetooth ea rbu ds.

EN AUX Input Mode
AUX Input mode
The Majority Landbeach can be connected with a device such as a tab let a CD player, MP3 player or similar device using an AUX 3.5 mm audio cable (not included) to play audio via the radio speaker: · Insert one end of the AUX cable into radio AUX input port (Ref.15) and the other en d into your
device. · Press the 'Mode' button (Ref.3) to change the mode into AU X IN. Start playing from your
device. · Use the buttons on your device to play audio and increase the volume on both your device and
speaker.

System Menu EN
To enter the main men u, press and hold the 'Info/Menu' button (Ref.4) for 3 seconds. Use the 'PREV' or 'NEXT' buttons (Ref.9, 11) to scroll th ro ugh the op tions u ntil you find 'Sys tem'. Press the 'OK' button (Ref.10) to enter and access the following features :
Equalisers:
Choose from six equaliser presets : Normal, Classic, Jazz , P op, Rock, Speech, and 'My EQ'. To activate a preset, s elect it and press 'OK' (Ref.10). A s tar icon will appear next to the selected preset. 'My EQ' is a customisable preset where you can adjust Treble and Bass: · Press the 'OK' button (Ref.10) to enter. · Adjust 'Treble' by pres sing 'OK' again, then use the 'PREV'/'NEXT' buttons to set it the value
then press 'OK' to confirm. · Adjust 'Bass' in the same way as the treble, and press 'OK ' to confirm.
Time/Date
Within the System Menu, find the 'Time' s ub ­men u, an d then p res s 'OK' to enter th e 'Time' section. Use PREV/NEXT buttons (Ref.9, 11) to select an y of the following sections , p res s OK to enter: Set the Time/Date · Set the time: Once entered you will see the clock format showing the hour flashing. Adjust the
hour us ing the 'PREV'/ 'N EX T' buttons, and then press 'OK' to move to the minutes, which will now start flashing. Adjust the minutes then press 'OK' to confirm and move to the next step to change the date. · Set the date (day, mo nth , year) in the same way as you s et the time, confirmin g each s tep with 'OK'. The radio will display "Time saved" when successfully set. Auto Update: Select whether you want the time to be automatically updated from 'Any', 'DAB', 'FM', or choos e 'No upd ate'. Set the time format '12/24 Hour Format': Choose whether the time display format should be 12-hour or 24-hour. Set the date format Choose whether the date dis play format as DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY.

Backlight: Adjust the disp lay brigh tnes s as p er your preferences. · Timeout: Select the time frame for when the screen should dim. Options are: ON, 10 sec, 20
sec, 30 sec, 45 s ec, 60 sec, 90 sec, 120 sec, 180 sec. P res s 'OK' to confirm. · On Level: Set the display brightness to High, Med ium, or Low by press ing 'OK ' (Ref.10). · Dim Level: Choose the dimmed display brightnes s for when the timeout occurs: High, Medium,
or Low. PLEASE NOTE: If you want the display to remain at the d im level at all times, set th e Timeout to 'ON', then set the 'on level ' and 'dim level, at th e sa me level. Language: Select one of the 10 languages available and press the 'OK' button (Ref.10) to confirm. The radio main menu language will change as per your preferences. Factory reset: Select this option to process a reset to default factory settin gs o f the radio. Select 'YES' and then press 'OK' to confirm or s elect 'NO' to cancel. PLEASE NOTE: A factory reset is recommended to be p rocessed to fix any functionality issues. Software version : This section is to view the informatio n of the rad io s oftware version.

Troubleshooting EN
Potential Cause/Solution
The radio might not have battery. Plug the radio to mains power and switch the device on. Check if the USB plug is suitable for radio. Process a reset by inserting a pin into RESET port on the radio (Ref.14).
Increase the volume on the radio. If you have no sound while connecting to a device, increase volume on both.
Process a factory reset, the option can be found within the System Menu.
Check if the radio is paired with another device. If the radio display shows "BT connected", remove the radio from other devices list and try pairing again .
