Operation, Features, and Safety Information
Operation
Preparation: Before initial use, ensure the tailcap is tightened completely.
Lock-out Function: To prevent accidental activation, unscrew the tailcap by 1/4 turn. This is recommended for storage or transport.
Power Control:
- In OFF state:
- 1 click: Turns the flashlight on to the last used mode.
- Press and hold: Activates the Firefly mode of the last used light. Continuing to hold the button will cycle through modes of the selected light. Release the button to select a mode.
- In ON state:
- 1 click: Turns the flashlight off.
- Press and hold: Cycles through modes of the selected light. Release the button to select a mode.
- 2 clicks: Switches between white and green light in any mode.
Strobe Modes: To add or remove Strobe modes, unscrew the tailcap by 1/4 turn while the flashlight is off, press and hold the button, tighten the tailcap while keeping the button pressed, and then unscrew it again.
Connecting the Magnetic Charger: Unscrew the tailcap by 1/4 turn and connect the magnetic charger to the tailcap.
Charger Color Indication:
- Charger not plugged in: A solid green light indicates the device is in standby mode.
- Charger plugged in:
- Green blinking: The battery voltage is being evaluated.
- Red blinking: Unscrew the tailcap by 1/4 turn to begin charging.
- Orange blinking: The USB power source voltage is too low for correct charging, or there is a poor contact between the charger and battery. Clean the tailcap and threads, or try a different power source.
- Red solid: Charging is in progress at the rated charging current.
- Orange solid: The USB power source voltage is too low, and the charging current has been reduced.
- Green solid: Charging is finished.
Warnings
- For optimal performance, Armytek recommends using branded 18650 Li-Ion batteries without a PCB (unprotected) and with a maximum length of 70 mm.
- The flashlight can heat up quickly in Turbo and Strobe modes and discharge the battery with high current. Do not leave the flashlight unattended, as its intense light can heat nearby objects and potentially cause a fire.
- Always activate the lock-out function (by unscrewing the tailcap 1/4 turn) for storage or transport to prevent accidental activation.
- Do not charge the battery inside the flashlight when the ambient temperature is below 0°C (32°F).
Warranty and Service
Armytek provides free warranty repairs for 10 years from the date of purchase, provided proof of purchase is available. Batteries, chargers, switches, and connectors have a 2-year warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Improper usage.
- Attempts to modify or repair the flashlight by unqualified specialists.
- Use in chlorinated, contaminated liquids, or seawater.
- Immersion into liquids if leakproofness is compromised.
- Exposure to high temperatures and chemicals, including liquids from defective batteries.
- Usage of low-quality batteries.
