Appendix – F.A.Q.
Q: Why does the video from BU113G2 look a bit blurry in OBS or other software?
A: This may occur if the video source outputs a resolution higher than 1080p, and the capture card downscales it. Check the input resolution in Assist Central Pro. If the source resolution is not one of BU113G2's preferred resolutions, it may default to 1080p60, causing a slightly blurred output. To fix this:
- Check the resolution output settings of your source device.
- Open Assist Central Pro and set the preferred resolution based on your source.
Q: Why is audio and video out of sync when using OBS Studio on Windows?
A:
- Use Streaming Center for better performance.
- In OBS, if monitoring audio from the "Video Capture Device," A/V sync issues may occur. Fix: Disable audio from the video capture device and monitor from the audio input capture instead.
- In Assist Central Pro, set VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) to Off.
Q: Why does my video stutter when recording high-resolution, high-frame-rate gameplay with OBS on Windows?
A: Use Streaming Center, which runs more smoothly and is optimized for this capture device.
Q: Why do I experience frame drops when using OBS with 4K60 MJPEG on Windows?
A: Switch to Streaming Center for better performance and smoother recording.
Appendix – Camera Setup Tips
To achieve the best video quality with CamStream 4K BU113G2, consider these general camera tips:
- Turn off Auto Power Off: Disable auto shutoff in camera settings to ensure the camera stays on during video calls or live streaming.
- Make Sure the HDMI Output is Clean: Turn off "HDMI Info Display" or hide on-screen icons in camera HDMI settings to avoid extra information in your video.
- Use a Power Adapter: Use an AC power adapter or a "dummy battery" to ensure continuous camera operation, as most cameras cannot charge and operate simultaneously.
- Switch to Movie Mode: Select "Movie Mode" on your camera, often indicated by a small film camera icon on the mode dial.
