2000 SERIES LOAD BANKS
ASCO Avtron 2000 SERIES load banks are indoor rated resistive units designed for testing power sources at unity power factor. Built on a rugged, heavy-duty construction, the 2000 SERIES are intended for continuous use and are built to withstand the rigors of varying climatic work site conditions.
All models can be customized for specific applications and are available from 5-700 kW with a wide voltage test range. Each model in the 2000 SERIES range shares common design features, resulting in a proven, reliable load bank at a cost-effective price. Remote manual control is standard on the 2000 SERIES. SIGMA LT control and other digital controls are available as an option for networking, Modbus, or Building Management System (BMS) interface requirements.
Typical 2000 SERIES load bank applications include mission-critical facilities, data centers, rental fleets, service and generator maintenance, OEMs, and renewable energy projects. An extensive range of other load bank SERIES are also available from ASCO.

SIGMA LT PLATFORM
The SIGMA LT "digital" toggle switch local control panel is provided as standard on SIGMA LT load banks. It offers straightforward control with LED metering and provisions for the optional hand-held control (to enable networking). A single SIGMA LT hand-held unit can remotely control up to 25 load banks. SIGMA LT load banks of varying load capacities can be networked to provide an extensive range of load.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
ASCO Avtron 2000 SERIES load banks are designed and manufactured with a number of unique technical features to provide reliable and accurate load testing for any application.
- ASCO Avtron Helidyne Resistor Elements: Designed and manufactured in-house for extended, reliable performance. Utilize a proprietary corrosion-resistant chromium alloy for years of trouble-free service.
- Segmented Ceramic Insulators & Stainless Steel Rods: Provide unmatched element support, representing years of design innovations and field studies for the most reliable resistive element assembly available.
- Local SIGMA LT Control Panel: Features digital push buttons and full digital monitoring for straightforward operation.
- Branch Circuit Fuse Protection: Provided to limit fault current and protect components in the unlikely event of a phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground short.
- Load Contactors: Properly engineered to match the required load step value.
- Differential Air Pressure Switch: Provides unit protection by dropping applied load if cooling airflow is not detected.
- Main Load Input Bus Bars: The main landing area for incoming power cables.
- Cable Entry Area: Features cable access holes provided for easy access to input bus bars.
- Protective Hinged Access Cover: Protects cables and operator during use.
- Lifting Eyes: Provided for overhead lifting.
- Transport Handle(s): Assist in maneuverability of the load bank.
- Chassis Ground Stud: For proper grounding during operation.
- Cooling Motor Assembly: Integral to the load bank, engineered to provide proper cooling CFM and motor circuit protection.
- Screened Cool Air Intake: Located on three sides of the load bank, allowing cool air intake and preventing foreign object damage.
- Safety & Warning Labels: Positioned across the unit to alert the user prior to operation.
- Swivel Casters: For easy transport and maneuverability.
- Fork Lift Pockets: Provided for transport and lifting.
- Fixed Casters: For easy transport and maneuverability.
- Exhaust: Directs hot air away from personnel.
