1 Hardware Connection

The diagram illustrates the hardware setup for the Cudy GS1028PS2 switch. On the left, a power socket connects to the switch's AC 100-240V power input. The switch, a 24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch with 2 Gigabit SFP Ports, is shown with its front panel ports labeled 'PWR' (Power), 'LNK/ACT' (Link/Activity), numbered RJ45 ports (1-26), and SFP slots. The switch connects to an Internet source, a Router, an NVR, and a Monitor. Additionally, the switch powers various Powered Devices (PD) such as an IP Camera, a Wireless AP, and a Smart VoIP device.

3 DIP Explanation

DIP Setting	Function	Description

Default	Standard Switch	All ports communicate freely.
Extend	Link Extension	The specified port speed drops to 10Mbps, max PoE transmission distance is 250 meters.
