6.1 Mounting on the Wall
6.1.1 Preparing the intended mounting surface
Get support and help from other people for the following assembly steps.
Use the enclosed drilling template to determine the bracket's position. Use a spirit level [F2] to check horizontal and vertical alignment. Mark the holes on the wall using a pencil [F3].
For wall attachment, use a drill with a 10 mm drill bit. Ensure the drill bit is suitable for the wall type. The hole depth should be 70 mm.
To ensure a secure hold, vacuum out drill holes to remove dust. Insert the plug [A2] into the drill hole until it is flush.
6.1.2 Attaching the wall bracket
Attach the wall bracket to the wall using the enclosed mounting material: plug [A2], M8 washer [A3], 8x70 mm screw [A1], pipe socket spanner [G1], and spirit level [F2].
Attach the two enclosed covers to the bracket.
6.2 Mounting on the TV Set
Note: Due to the variety of terminal devices, not all mounting options can be described here.
Ensure the bracket lays flat and evenly on the back of the television.
Use the enclosed spacers to even out any unevenness on the TV's back.
Ensure all screws have the proper length and can be mounted hand-tight.
6.2.1 Mount the VESA arms on the back of the TV set
Before installation, ensure the grooved side of the VESA plate is pointing upwards.
Mount the VESA arms to the back of your TV set. Note the correct combination of screw, washer, and spacer for your flat or curved TV:
Flat TV Back:
Use F1 + B1 + C1, D1, or D4 screws.
Curved TV Back:
Use F1 + B1 + C2, D2, or D4 screws.
For curved TVs, use F1 + B2 or B3 + D3 or D4 screws.
Note: You do not need a washer for the D-screws.
Example calculation: M8x50 screw + Ø8x5 spacer = M8x45 (D4 screw).
6.3 Mounting the TV on the wall bracket
Get support and help from other people for this assembly step. Adjust joints during installation to allow for lateral TV movement.
Pull the securing cord downwards and hang the TV set with the mounted VESA arms onto the wall bracket until it audibly engages. The ends of the securing cords can be fastened to the wall bracket using magnets ?.
6.4 Mounting the cable management
Run cables along the wall bracket arms and cable guides.
Attach the cable manager to the bracket arm until it clicks into place.
