1 - Turn range hood on. Within a 15-second period, press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button on the hood for 5 seconds. Buttons backlighting will flash. Press each button on the remote control one after the other to pair the remote control with the hood. 2 - Use the remote control as follows:
- Press the LIGHT BUTTON to turn the lights on at high intensity. The backlight of the button will turn on. - Press the LIGHT BUTTON again to turn the lights on at low intensity. - Press the LIGHT BUTTON once again to turn the lights off. The backlight of the button will turn off.
- Press the UP BUTTON to turn the blower on at low speed. The backlight of the button will turn on. The LED display shows "1". - Press the UP BUTTON again to turn the blower on at medium/low speed. The LED display shows "2". - Press the UP BUTTON once again to turn the blower on at medium/high speed. The LED display shows "3". - Press the UP BUTTON another time to turn the blower on at high speed. The LED display shows "4" (only available with 600 CFM setting).
- Press the DOWN BUTTON to decrease blower speed. The backlight of the button will turn on. The LED will display current speed. When the blower is set at low speed (LED display showing "1"), pressing another time the DOWN BUTTON will turn the blower off as well as the backlight of the button.
- Press the 15-MIN DELAY BUTTON while the blower is on to activate the delay function. The backlight of the button will turn on. The hood will run for 15 minutes. Once the 15-minute period elapsed, the blower and lights will turn off automatically. - To cancel the delay function before the end of the 15-minute period, press another time the 15-MIN DELAY BUTTON or change the blower speed using the UP BUTTON or the DOWN BUTTON. The backlight of the 15-MIN DELAY BUTTON will turn off. 3 - If the remote control is not working, try to pair it again with the hood. Perform the following steps: - Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button on the hood for 5 seconds. Buttons backlighting will flash. - Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button on the hood for 5 seconds another time. The hood is not paired anymore with the remote control. - Perform step 1.

The remote control requires a 3 V lithium button cell type CR2025.
This product contains a lithium button/coin cell battery. If a new or used lithium button/coin cell battery is swallowed or enters the body,

the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep it away from children. If you

Limited Warranty Warranty Period and Exclusions: Broan-NuTone LLC and Venmar Ventilation ULC (either being the "Company") warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its product ("you") that the product (the "Product") will be free from material defects in the Product or its workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase (or such longer period as may be required by applicable law) or a period of two (2) years from the date of service for any labor provided on the Product. The limited warranty period for any replacement parts provided by the Company and for any Products repaired or replaced under this limited warranty shall be the remainder of the original warranty period (or such longer period as may be required by applicable law). This warranty does not cover fluorescent lamp starters, tubes, halogen and incandescent bulbs, fuses, filters, ducts, roof caps, wall caps and other accessories for ducting. This warranty also does not cover (a) normal maintenance and service, (b) normal wear and tear, (c) any Products or parts which have been subject to misuse, abuse, abnormal usage, negligence, accident, improper or insufficient maintenance, storage or repair (other than repair by the Company), (d) damage caused by faulty installation, or installation or use contrary to recommendations or instructions, (f) damage caused by exposure to salt air (g) damage in transit, (h) natural wear of finish, (i) Products in commercial or nonresidential use, or (j) damage caused by fire, flood or other act of God or (k) Products with altered, defaced or removed serial numbers. This warranty covers only Products sold to consumers in North America. This warranty supersedes all prior warranties and, subject to applicable law, is not transferable from the original consumer purchaser.
No Other Warranties: This Limited Warranty contains the Company's sole obligation and your sole remedy for defective products. The foregoing warranties are exclusive and in lieu of any other warranties and conditions, express or implied. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, AND DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Remedy: During the applicable limited warranty period, the Company will, at its option, provide replacement parts for, or repair or replace, without charge, any Product or part thereof, to the extent the Company finds it to be covered by and in breach of this limited warranty under normal use and service. The Company will ship the repaired or replaced Product or replacement parts to you at no charge. You are responsible for all costs for removal, reinstallation and shipping, insurance or other freight charges incurred in the shipment of the Product or part to the Company. If you must send the Product or part to the Company, as instructed by the Company, you must properly pack the Product or part--the Company is not responsible for damage in transit. The Company reserves the right to utilize reconditioned, refurbished, repaired or remanufactured Products or parts in the warranty repair or replacement process. Such Products and parts will be comparable in function and performance to an original Product or part and warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period (or such longer period as may be required by applicable law). Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refund the money actually paid by you for the Product. If the Product or component is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value, at Company's sole discretion. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this limited warranty.
Exclusion of Damages: THE COMPANY'S OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE REPLACEMENT PARTS, OR REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT THE COMPANY'S OPTION, SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND THE COMPANY'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION. THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCT, ITS USE OR PERFORMANCE.

How to Obtain Warranty Service: To qualify for warranty service, you must (a) notify the Company at the address or telephone number stated below within seven (7) days of discovering the covered defect, (b) give the model number and part identification and (c) describe the nature of any defect in the Product or part. At the time of requesting warranty service, you must present evidence of the original purchase date. If you cannot provide a copy of the original written limited warranty, then the terms of the Company's most current written limited warranty for your particular product will control. 1 - Mettre la hotte en marche. Dans une période de 15 secondes, appuyer longuement sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT de la hotte durant 5 secondes. Le rétroéclairage des boutons clignotera. Appuyer sur chaque bouton de la télécommande l'un après l'autre pour jumeler la télécommande avec la hotte. 2 - Utiliser la télécommande comme suit :
- Appuyer sur le BOUTON ÉCLAIRAGE pour allumer les lumières à haute intensité. Le rétroéclairage du bouton s'allumera. - Appuyer sur le BOUTON ÉCLAIRAGE une autre fois pour allumer les lumières à faible intensité. - Appuyer sur le BOUTON ÉCLAIRAGE encore une fois pour éteindre les lumières. Le rétroéclairage du bouton s'éteindra.
- Appuyer sur le BOUTON HAUT pour activer le ventilateur à basse vitesse. Le rétroéclairage du bouton s'allumera. L'affichage numérique affichera "1". - Appuyer sur le BOUTON HAUT une autre fois pour activer le ventilateur à vitesse moyenne/basse. L'affichage numérique affichera "2". - Appuyer sur le BOUTON HAUT encore une fois pour activer le ventilateur à vitesse moyenne/haute. L'affichage numérique affichera "3". - Appuyer sur le BOUTON HAUT une fois de plus pour activer le ventilateur en haute vitesse. L'affichage numérique affichera "4" (disponible seulement avec un réglage à 600 pi3/min).
- Appuyer sur le BOUTON BAS pour diminuer la vitesse du ventilateur. Le rétroéclairage du bouton s'allumera. L'affichage numérique affichera la vitesse actuelle. Lorsque le ventilateur est réglé à basse vitesse (affichage numérique affichant "1"), appuyer une autre fois sur le BOUTON BAS éteindra le ventilateur ainsi que le rétroéclairage du bouton.
- Appuyer sur le BOUTON ARRÊT DIFFÉRÉ 15 MIN alors que le ventilateur est en marche pour activer la fonction arrêt différé. Le rétroéclairage du bouton s'allumera. La hotte fonctionnera durant 15 minutes. Une fois la période de 15 minutes écoulée, le ventilateur et l'éclairage s'éteindront automatiquement. - Pour annuler la fonction arrêt différé avant la fin de la période de 15 minutes, appuyer une autre fois sur le BOUTON ARRÊT DIFFÉRÉ 15 MIN ou changer la vitesse du ventilateur en appuyant sur le BOUTON HAUT ou sur le BOUTON BAS. Le rétroéclairage du BOUTON ARRÊT DIFFÉRÉ 15 MIN s'éteindra. 3 - Si la télécommande ne fonctionne pas, essayer de la jumeler de nouveau avec la hotte. Effectuer les étapes suivantes : - Appuyer longuement sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT de la hotte durant 5 secondes. Le rétroéclairage des boutons clignotera. - Appuyer longuement sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT de la hotte durant 5 secondes une seconde fois. La hotte n'est plus jumelée avec la télécommande. - Effectuer l'étape 1.

La télécommande nécessite une pile bouton lithium 3 V de type CR2025.

1 - Encender la campana. Durante un período de 15 segundos, mantener presionado el botón ALIMENTACIÓN ENCENDIDO/ APAGADO de la campana durante 5 segundos. La retroiluminación de los botones parpadeará. Presionar cada botón del control remoto uno tras otro para sincronizar el control remoto con la campana. 2 - Utilizar el control remoto como sigue:
- Presionar el BOTÓN LUZ para encender la luz a alta intensidad. La retroiluminación del botón se encenderá. - Presionar el BOTÓN LUZ una otra vez para encender la luz a baja intensidad. - Presionar el BOTÓN LUZ una vez más para apagar la luz. La retroiluminación del botón se apagará.
- Presionar el BOTÓN ARRIBA para encender el ventilador a velocidad baja. La retroiluminación del botón se encenderá. La pantalla LED mostrará "1". - Presionar el BOTÓN ARRIBA una otra vez para encender el ventilador a velocidad media/baja. La pantalla LED mostrará "2". - Presionar el BOTÓN ARRIBA una vez más para encender el ventilador a velocidad media/alta. La pantalla LED mostrará "3". - Presionar el BOTÓN ARRIBA una vez más para encender el ventilador a velocidad alta. La pantalla LED mostrará "4" (disponible solo con el ajuste a 600 pi3/min).
- Presionar el BOTÓN ABAJO para reducir la velocidad del ventilador. La retroiluminación del botón se encenderá La pantalla LED mostrará la velocidad actual. Cuando el ventilador funciona a velocidad baja (la pantalla LED muestra "1"), presionar una otra vez el BOTÓN ABAJO apagará el ventilador y la retroiluminación del botón.
- Presionar el BOTÓN APAGADO DIFERIDO 15 MIN cuando el ventilador está en marcha para activar la función apagado diferido. La retroiluminación del botón se encenderá. La campana funcionará durante 15 minutos. Una vez el período de 15 minutos transcurrido, el ventilador y la luz se apagarán automáticamente. - Para anular la función apagado diferido antes de finalizar el período de 15 minutos, presionar una otra vez el BOTÓN APAGADO DIFERIDO 15 MIN o cambiar la velocidad del ventilador presionando el BOTÓN ARRIBA o el BOTÓN ABAJO. La retroiluminación del BOTÓN APAGADO DIFERIDO 15 MIN se apagará. 3 - Si el control remoto no funciona, intentar sincronizarla de nuevo con la campana.
