NexSys® TPPL (Thin Plate Pure Lead) battery solutions provide maintenance-free power for thousands of applications around the world. Optimized for fast and opportunity charging, maintenance-free NexSys® TPPL battery solutions are ideal for light to medium-duty applications, while an optional Accelerated Throughput Package is available for certain higher-volume applications, and in a range of capacities and configurations. Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) Technology NexSys® TPPL technology offers significant advantages when compared to traditional lead-acid. Lead-calcium alloy grids are prone to corrosion during normal operation, leading to a loss of current and reduced battery life. In contrast, TPPL grids, made from pure lead, are thinner and provide more surface area, resulting in greater power output. The pure lead grain structure minimizes resistance and significantly reduces the likelihood of corrosion, thereby enhancing the battery's performance and longevity.
