The warranty provider's responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider's discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function. This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. GG1 BP Series Boom Poles Owner's Manual BP-28CC, BP-36A, and BP-47A shown Overview Standard 3/8-16 threaded mount Arrowhead tip BP Series boom poles feature the unique Arrowhead tip that's designed to reduce weight at the top of the pole. For cable-equipped models, it also allows easy dropthrough cable insertion for quick and uncomplicated cable replacement. Thanks to the solderless design, you won't need special tools to replace the XLR cable with the cable replacement kit (sold separately). The standard 3/8-16 threaded mount fits most shotgun microphone shock mounts. Tip strain relief The tip strain-relief system absorbs tension, secures the cable, and protects the cable from damage from the edges of the tip exit. Foam handle The BP-36A has a foam handle for maintaining your grip throughout long shoots. The handle is comfortable to hold in hot, direct sunlight or cold, wintery weather. Once the sections are extended to the desired length, tighten the twist locks until secure. Tip: When extending boom pole, start with the top sections first. This way, you will be able to reach the remaining twist locks as you lengthen the pole. Collapsing the boom pole 1. Hold the boom pole at its base. Loosen the nearest twist lock, and collapse the section. 2. Repeat this for the other twist locks until the pole is collapsed.
