Do not tighten bolts / screws completely until all bolts / screws are lined up and inserted into holes. 2. Do not over tighten screws and bolts to avoid stripping. 3. Wattage: 240W (60W per bulb) Step 1 Alright, let's get this thing fired up! Temporarily remove loose components from the Fixture (1). 1 5 Step 2 Next, thread the vertical extension rod onto the central socket hub of the Fixture (1). 1 Step 3 Yep, this step is as easy as it looks. Remove the Ball Nuts (G) from the Frame Supports (2) by unscrewing them from the bottom. 2 G 6 Step 4 Loosely secure the 4 Frame Supports (2) to the Frame Base (3) using the Ball Nuts (G). Do not tighten all the way. This light is really starting to come together! 2 3 G G G G 7 Step 5 Using the top center support hub that you removed in Step 1, begin securing the Frame Supports (2) in place using the Allen Key (F). F 2 3 8 Step 5 Cont. Continue securing the additional Frame Supports (2) to the top center support hub using the Allen Key (F). F 2 3 2 3 9 Step 6 Now tighten all connections to 100% using the Allen Key (F). F 2 F 3 2 3 10 Step 7 You're over halfway done! Now would be a great time to order a celebratory pizza. Using the remaining loose components that were removed in Step 1, secure the Fixture (1) to the metal frame components. 1 11 Step 8 Remove the threaded collar from the Mounting Bracket (C). Then install the Mounting Bracket (C) onto your preinstalled electrical box using the M4*26mm Junction Box Screws (D). C Electrical Box C D D 12 Step 9 Now thread the wires from the Fixture (1) through the Chain (B), then through the threaded collar from the Mounting Bracket (C), and, finally, through the Canopy (A). Next, secure the chain to the loop from the Mounting Bracket (C). Note: the canopy and threaded collar will still be loose on the chain. A C B A B C B 1 13 Step 10 Wrap the Ground Wire around the grounding screw on the Mounting Bracket (C), then secure by tightening the screw. L L Note: Be sure that you are only making the connections to a 120V AC 60Hz circuit. If you do not have a pre-existing electrical box, we strongly advise using a certified electrician. 14 Step 11 Use the Wire Nuts (E) to connect the matching colored wires (white to black, black to the black wire with L label, and ground to ground). Once complete, tuck the excess wire into the electrical box. Ground Wire E E L L Black wire is neutral Black wire with L label is Hot 15 Step 12 Using the threaded collar, secure the Fixture (1) and A Canopy (A) in place by threading it back onto the Mounting Bracket (C). To properly fasten finial caps, thread in or out to adjust for proper threading length. 1 16 Step 13 You made it to the last step! To celebrate, we've made this step really easy for you. Just install in the light bulbs, and then you're done! We recommend using 4 G16 LED 60 Watt equivalent bulbs (not included). Time to enjoy that celebratory pizza! 120V 60Hz AC only Troubleshooting Problem Possible Causes The bulb will not light. The bulb is burned out. The power is off. The fuse blows or circuit breaker blows when the light is turned on. The circuit breaker is off. There is an exposed wire. Solutions Replace the light bulb. Ensure the power supply is on. Ensure the circuit breaker is in the ON position. Discontinue use of the light. Contact a qualified electrician or reach out to our Customer Happiness team at help@nathanjames.com or 1-866-619-1004. 17 Questions? Don't worry, we've got the answers What other light bulbs can fit in this light? The bulb must not be greater than the max wattage for the fixture. It must match the base size, and the diameter of any area of the bulb should be less than diameter of any area of shade, so that it can fit. Can I use an LED light bulb? Yes, so long that the base size matches and the diameter of any area of bulb is less than diameter of any area of shade, so that it can fit. Is this UL/ETL certified? Yes, all our products are either UL or ETL. Do I need an electrician to set up the hardwire? We recommend using a certified electrician for all hardwiring, although all of our fixtures can be set up without an electrician, as long as you are replacing an existing fixture or have an existing junction box ready for a fixture installation. ENSURE POWER IS OFF WHEN INSTALLING. For all new constructions, please use a certified electrician. Is this light compatible outside North America? Our lighting is only warranted in Canada and the United States. What do I do if the product is not working? Try a different light bulb and confirm proper installation. Can these lights work on a dimmer? Dimmability is related to the light bulb and the wall switch, not the light fixture. All our hardwire fixtures are compatible with dimmable light bulbs. We recommend using a dimmer switch, as it extends the life of the bulb and allows for energy saving and great ambiance. If using a LED bulb, please ensure both your LED bulb and dimmer switch are compatible. Can I use the fixture outdoors? No, this product was not designed to be used outdoors. Can I retrofit this hard-wired to a plug-in or vice-versa? Yes, a plug-in fixture can be turned into a hardwire fixture and a hardwire fixture can become a plug-in fixture.
