This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and operation of your Seasons air conditioner. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always read and follow these safety instructions to prevent injury or property damage.
WARNING
- Plug in the power plug properly to avoid electric shock or fire due to overheating.
- Always install a circuit breaker and a dedicated power circuit.
- Always ensure effective grounding to prevent electric shock.

- Do not allow water to run into electric parts, as this may cause machine failure or electric shock.
- Do not use a loose or damaged socket, as this may cause fire and electric shock.
- Do not use the power cord close to heating appliances, as this may cause fire and electric shock.
- Do not disassemble or modify the unit, as this may cause failure and electric shock.
CAUTION
- When removing the air filter, do not touch the metal parts of the unit to avoid injury.
- Use a soft cloth for cleaning, not strong detergents like wax or thinner, to prevent damage to the appearance or surface.
- Stop operation and close the window during storms or hurricanes to prevent wetting of the indoor area and soaking of furniture.
- Always insert filters securely and clean them every two weeks; operation without filters may cause failure.
- Do not place obstacles around air inlets or inside the air outlet to prevent appliance failure or accidents.
- Use caution when unpacking and installing; sharp edges could cause injury.
- Do not place pets or houseplants where they will be exposed to direct airflow, as this could injure them.
- Do not clean the air conditioner with water, as water entering the unit can degrade insulation and cause electric shock.
- When cleaning the unit, switch off the power and turn off the circuit breaker. Do not clean when the power is on.
- Hold the plug by the head when unplugging to prevent electric shock and damage.
- Do not place heavy objects on the power cord or allow it to be compressed, as there is a danger of fire or electric shock.
- If water enters the unit, turn off the power, switch off the circuit breaker, unplug the unit, and contact a qualified service technician.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
- The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
- Do not operate the air conditioner in a wet room such as a bathroom or laundry room.
- The appliance with an electric heater shall have at least 1 meter space to combustible materials.
- Contact an authorized service technician for repair or maintenance, and an authorized installer for installation.
NOTE
The power supply cord contains a current detection device to reduce the risk of fire. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with a cord from the product manufacturer.
WARNING
Avoid fire hazard or electric shock. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug. Do not remove any prong from the power cord.

WARNING
For Your Safety: Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
WARNING
Prevent Accidents: Be sure the electrical service is adequate for the model. Clean window glass and remove screens before installation if applicable. Ensure the air conditioner is securely and correctly installed. Handle the air conditioner with care to avoid cuts from sharp metal fins.
WARNING
Electrical Information: Refer to the serial plate for electrical ratings. Ensure the air conditioner is properly grounded. Use a properly grounded wall receptacle. Do not run the air conditioner without the side protective cover in place. Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
Operation of Current Device
The power supply cord contains a current device that senses damage. To test:
- Plug in the Air Conditioner.
- Press the TEST button on the plug head; the RESET button should pop out.
- Press the RESET button; it should engage with a click.
- The cord is now supplying electricity.
NOTE:
- Do not use this device to turn the unit on or off.
- Always ensure the RESET button is pushed in for correct operation.
- The power supply must be replaced if it fails to reset or cannot be reset. It must be replaced with one obtained from the product manufacturer.
NOTE: This air conditioner is designed to operate under the following conditions:

Note: Performance may be reduced outside of these operating temperatures.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
To avoid risk of personal injury, property damage, or product damage:
- Two or more people are needed to move and install the unit due to its weight. Use proper lifting techniques.
- Inspect the installation location to ensure it can support the unit's weight.
- Handle the air conditioner with care, wearing protective gloves, and avoid sharp metal fins.
- Ensure the air conditioner does not fall during installation.
Tools and Parts
Gather required tools and parts before starting. Tools needed include flat-blade and Phillips screwdrivers, a tape measure, a level, and drill bits. For through-the-wall installation, a saw and caulk are also needed.
Parts Supplied
Check that all parts are included:
- Screws (#10 X 1/2" pan-head Phillips, #10 X 3/4" or #10 X 1/2" round-head, #10 X 1/4" pan-head Phillips)
- Side curtains (2)
- Window sash seal (1)
- Foam seal (1)
- Window lock bracket / Safety Lock (for Vinyl-Clad windows)
- Weather seals (6" x 3/4" x 1/12") (2)
- Remote Control (1)
- Remote Battery (2)
NOTE: Installation parts are supplied for double-hung windows up to 36" (91.4 cm) wide. A special Wide Window Kit may be available.
Location Requirements
- Grounded electrical outlet within 4 ft (122 cm) of the power cord exit.
- Free air movement in the room.
- Adequate opening for the air conditioner.
- Adequate wall support for the unit's weight (70-85 lbs / 32-40 kgs).
NOTE: Do not use an extension cord. Cabinet louvers must not be obstructed.
Window Installation
Window opening measurements:
- Width: 26-7/8" to 36" (68.3 cm to 91.4 cm)
- Height: 16-1/2" (41.9 cm) minimum
Remove Packaging Material
- Remove and dispose of/recycle packaging materials. Clean any tape or glue residue from surfaces.
- Handle the air conditioner gently.
- Remove shipping screws from the sides of the cabinet.
- Remove the front panel by unscrewing the Phillips screws on each side.
- Pull on the handles to slide the air conditioner out of the cabinet.
NOTE: Handle the air conditioner gently. Ensure the cabinet does not fall during installation or removal. The power cord exit should be within 4 ft of a grounded outlet. Do not block louvers. Do not remove foam from inside the unit.
Attach Top Channel
- Place the top channel on top of the air conditioner cabinet, aligning the holes.
- Use three #10 X 1/4" pan-head Phillips thread cutting screws to attach the top channel.
Attach Side Curtains
- Insert the right-hand curtain connector tab into the curtain housing channels.
- Insert the top and bottom of the right-hand curtain housing into the top and bottom curtain channels on the air conditioner.
- Slide the curtain housing into the curtain guides.
- Repeat for the left-hand curtain.
Attach Foam Adhesive Seal
Attach the foam adhesive seal along the bottom of the curtain bottom channel.
Install Cabinet into Window
- Check that the lower rail of the cabinet is against the back side of the window sill. Maintain a firm hold on the cabinet.
- Lower the window sash to hold the cabinet in place.
- Measure the distance between the right side of the cabinet and the inside of the window channel. Repeat for the left side. Adjust the cabinet so the distance is the same on both sides.
- Attach the cabinet to the window:
- For wooden windows: Drill starter holes and attach the cabinet with screws (#10 x 1/2" pan-head Phillips and #10 X 3/4" or 1/2" round-head screws).
- For Vinyl-Clad windows: Drill a hole and attach the cabinet with a #10 x 3/4" or 1/2" round-head Phillips screw. Place safety locks into the bottom holes and drive locking screws through them.
- Check that the air conditioner cabinet is tilted back approximately 1/8" to 1/2" (tilted about 3° to 4° downward to the outside) to allow for proper water drainage.
Attach Side Curtains to Window Frame
- Extend the side curtains against the window frame.
- Drill holes and drive locking screws through the side curtains into the window frame/sill.
- Trim the weather seal to the proper length, peel off the backing, and plug any gaps.
Complete Installation
- Insert the window sash seal behind the top of the lower window sash and against the glass of the upper window.
- Place the window-lock bracket on top of the lower window and against the upper window sash.
- Drill starter holes through the bracket into the window sash.
- Attach the window lock-bracket with screws to secure the window.
- Insert the air conditioner into the cabinet.
- Insert the front tabs of the front panel into the top of the cabinet and swing the front into place.
- Attach the bottom front of the panel with the front panel screws.
- Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
- Press RESET on the power supply cord.
Through-the-Wall Cabinet Installation
Option 1 - Wood, Metal, or Plastic Molding:
The wood frame should line up with the inside wall.
Option 2 - Plastered Wall with No Molding:
If the plastered wall is to be flush with the cabinet, the wood frame must be set 1/2" (13 mm) into the inside wall.
Install Wood Frame
- Construct the wood frame according to the provided dimensions.
- Measure the outside width and height of the frame to determine wall opening dimensions.
- Cut the opening through the wall.
- Apply wood preservative to the exposed surface of the frame.
- Insert the frame into the wall opening, ensuring it is square and level.
- Attach the frame securely to the wall.
NOTE: Dimension for depth depends on wall thickness and molding type. Do not block louvers. Use 1" or thicker lumber for the wood frame.
Install Cabinet into Wood Frame
- Insert the cabinet into the framed wall opening. The top of the cabinet should extend 3/4" (19.1 mm) into the room.
- Use a level to check that the cabinet is level side to side.
- Check that the air conditioner cabinet is tilted to the outside for water drainage (at least half-a-bubble towards the rear).
- Use insulation to seal the opening between the cabinet and the frame.
- Use existing holes in the cabinet sides and top, and seven #10 X 1" wood screws to attach the cabinet to the frame.
- Caulk all outside wall openings around the cabinet.
NOTE: Do not overtighten screws, as this can distort the cabinet and affect the air seal.
Complete Installation
- Insert the air conditioner into the cabinet.
- Insert the front tabs of the front panel into the top of the cabinet and swing the front into place.
- Attach the bottom front of the panel with the front panel screws.
- Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet.
- Press RESET on the power supply cord.
NOTE: Handle the air conditioner gently. For through-the-wall installations, install molding around the room side of the cabinet if needed.
AIR CONDITIONER FEATURES
ELECTRONIC CONTROL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Familiarize yourself with the control panel and its functions. The unit can be controlled by the unit control or the remote.
- TO TURN UNIT ON OR OFF: Press the ON/OFF button. The unit will initiate Energy Saver function automatically in Cool, Dry, and Auto modes.
- TO CHANGE TEMPERATURE SETTING: Press the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the temperature. The display will show the desired temperature, which will be maintained between 62°F (17°C) and 86°F (30°C).
- TO ADJUST FAN SPEEDS: Press the Fan button to select Auto, Low, Med, or High. Fan speed may not be adjustable in HEAT mode. On Dry mode, fan speed is automatically Low.
- SLEEP FEATURE: Press the Sleep button to initiate sleep mode. The temperature adjusts gradually over several hours for comfort. Press the Sleep button again to cancel.
- CHECK FILTER FEATURE: Press the Check Filter button. An indicator light will illuminate after 250 hours of operation as a reminder to clean the filter. Press the button again after cleaning to reset the light.
- ENERGY SAVER FEATURE: Press the Energy Saver button. In this mode, the fan cycles on and off with the compressor to save energy.
- I SENSE FEATURE (on some models): Activate from the remote control ONLY. The remote acts as a thermostat, allowing temperature control at its location. Point the remote at the unit and press I SENSE. The unit will receive temperature signals from the remote every 3 minutes. The mode stops if the signal is not received for 7 minutes.
- TO SELECT THE OPERATING MODE: Press the Mode button to cycle through Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat (if applicable), and Fan modes.
- To operate on Auto feature: The unit automatically selects cooling, heating, or fan-only operation based on the set temperature and room temperature. Fan speed is automatic.
- To operate on Fan Only: Use for air circulation or to exhaust stale air when cooling is not desired. Any fan speed can be selected. The display shows room temperature.
- To operate on Dry mode: The unit operates primarily as a dehumidifier, with some cooling continuing.
- TIMER: AUTO START/STOP FEATURE:
- Press the Timer button to initiate Auto Start (TIMER ON) or Auto Stop (TIMER OFF).
- Use UP/DOWN buttons to set the time in 0.5-hour increments up to 10 hours, then 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
- The control counts down the remaining time.
- Turning the unit ON/OFF or setting the timer to 0.0 cancels the Auto Start/Stop program.
DISPLAYS
The display shows the set temperature in °C or °F and Auto-timer settings. In Fan only mode, it shows the room temperature.
Error Codes:
- AS: Room temperature sensor error. Unplug and replug the unit. Call for service if the error repeats. In Fan only mode, displays "LO" or "HI".
- --: Evaporator temperature sensor error. Unplug and replug the unit. Call for service if the error repeats.
- HS: Electric heating sensor error. Unplug and replug the unit. Call for service if the error repeats.
NOTE: If the unit turns off unexpectedly due to a power outage, it will restart with the previous function setting when power resumes.
Air Directional Louvers
The 4-way air directional louvers allow you to direct airflow Up/Down and Left/Right. Use the center handles to adjust side-to-side airflow.
ADDITIONAL THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
- The Cool circuit has an automatic 3-minute time-delayed start to prevent compressor overheating and circuit breaker tripping. The fan runs during this delay.
- To convert temperature display between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press and hold the Left and Right Temp/Timer buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
CARE AND CLEANING
Air Filter Cleaning
Check the air filter at least once a month. Clean filters prevent frost buildup on cooling coils.
CAUTION
Unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
- Open the front panel.
- Pull the filter up and out by the center.
- Wash the filter with liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and shake off excess water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before replacing. Alternatively, vacuum the filter clean.
Note: Never use hot water over 40°C (104°F) to clean the filter. Never operate the unit without the air filter.
Cabinet Cleaning
- Unplug the air conditioner.
- Dust the cabinet and front with an oil-free cloth or wipe with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Rinse and wipe dry.
- Never use harsh cleaners, wax, or polish on the cabinet front.
- Wring excess water from the cloth before wiping around controls.
- Plug in the air conditioner.
Winter Storage
If storing the air conditioner during winter, remove it carefully from the window, cover it with plastic, or return it to its original carton.

- Products without original serial numbers or with altered serial numbers.
