Safety Instructions

General Safety:

• Before installation, familiarize yourself with local restrictions regarding recording and surveillance systems.
• Protect the device from extreme temperatures (high or low).
• Keep the device dry and away from water or other liquids. Do not handle with wet hands.
• Use memory cards of Class 10 or higher.
• Always unplug the device from the power source before cleaning.
• Clean the device regularly with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding abrasive agents.
• Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact authorized service for any damage or malfunction.

Installation Guide

Follow these steps to set up your 4G security camera:

1. Step 1: Unscrew the rear cover and insert the SIM card. Connect the solar panel to the camera. Note: The SIM card must not be locked with a PIN code.

2. Step 2: Set the switch on the solar panel to the ON position. This switch is located under a rubber cover.

3. Step 3: Download and run the TuyaSmart app from the Play Store or App Store. (Note: Screenshots may differ from the current app version.)

4. Step 4: Sign up and/or log in to the Tuya app. While you can use the app without an account, an account is necessary to set up a home and add family members.

5. Step 5: Press the "Add new device" button.

6. Step 6: Select the "Scan QR code" option.

7. Step 7: Scan the QR code located on the camera's casing.

8. Step 8: Wait for the camera to connect with the app. The status will show "Connecting Device".

9. Step 9: Once connected, you will see "1 device(s) added successfully". You can change the camera's name by pressing the "Edit" button and inputting a new name, then press "Done".

10. Step 10: On the main screen, press the camera name to view details and access various functions:

    • a. Switch image quality.
    • b. View battery level.
    • c. Mute camera sound.
    • d. Live view.
    • e. Camera settings.
    • f. Full screen switch.
    • g. Make a screenshot.
    • h. Press and talk: The camera will play your voice.
    • i. Record video to phone storage.
    • j. Play recordings saved on the memory card.
    • k. Play recordings saved on phone memory.
    • l. Cloud storage (requires subscription).
    • m. Change camera direction.
    • n. Night mode.
    • o. Motion detection.
