How to Pair Your Jabra Elite 85t with Your Mobile Device
This guide provides instructions for pairing your Jabra Elite 85t earbuds with your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile devices.
Pairing with One Mobile Device
Follow these steps to pair your earbuds:
- Ensure the Bluetooth setting is enabled on your mobile device.
- Turn on your earbuds by removing them from the charging case. Alternatively, you can simultaneously press the Left and Right buttons on the earbuds. The LEDs on both earbuds will flash green.
- To enter pairing mode, simultaneously press and hold the Left and Right buttons on the earbuds for 3 seconds, until the LED on the right earbud flashes blue. Your earbuds are now ready to pair.
- On your mobile device, navigate to the Bluetooth menu and select "Jabra Elite 85t" from the list of available devices. You can also wear the earbuds to hear voice-guided instructions.
- If prompted for a PIN code, enter "0000" (four zeros).
Pairing with Two Mobile Devices
To pair with two mobile devices, repeat the pairing process separately for each device. After pairing with both devices, you will need to reselect the Jabra Elite 85t in the Bluetooth settings on the first mobile device to complete the connection for both.
Automatic Reconnection
In daily use, when you turn on your earbuds, they will automatically reconnect to the last previously paired device, provided that device is turned on and within range.
Pairing Using Only the Right Earbud
Follow these steps if you wish to pair using only the right earbud:
- Ensure the Bluetooth setting is enabled on your mobile device.
- Turn off the right earbud manually by pressing the Right button until the LED flashes red.
- To enter pairing mode, press and hold the Right button for 3 seconds, until the LED flashes blue. The earbud is now ready to pair.
- On your mobile device, navigate to the Bluetooth menu and select "Jabra Elite 85t" from the list. You can also wear the earbud to hear voice-guided instructions.
- If prompted for a PIN code, enter "0000" (four zeros).
If pairing is successful, your earbuds will appear in the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device, and the connection will be announced in the earbuds.
