Smart Life - Smart Living
A guide to connecting your Dolceclima Fresco portable air conditioner to your Wi-Fi network using the Smart Life app.
Download the Smart Life app from the [App Store] or [Google Play].
1 Install Smart Life – Smart Living App for iOS or Android
iOS Devices
- Tap the [Apple App Store Icon] icon on your Apple device.
- Type "Smart Life" in the search window and search for the app.
- Tap the INSTALL button. If prompted, enter your Apple iTunes® password, and then tap OK to proceed.
- When the app finishes installing, an OPEN button is displayed. Tap OPEN to launch the app.
Android Devices
- Tap the [Google Play Store Icon] icon on your Android device.
- Type "Smart Life" in the search window and search for the app.
- Tap the INSTALL button on the Smart Life – Smart Living screen.
- Tap the ACCEPT button on the App permissions screen.
- When the app finishes installing, an OPEN button is displayed. Tap OPEN to launch the app.
2 Register an account with Smart Life App
Ensure your mobile phone or tablet is connected to the internet before proceeding with user registration.
Open Smart Life - Smart Living App
- Click on "[Sign Up]". (See Figure 1)
- Enter your E-mail and then click on "[Get Verification Code]". If the email with the code does not arrive, check your "Spam" folder in your mailbox.
- Enter the verification code sent to your email. If the email still hasn't arrived, click on "[Didn't get a code?]". (See Figure 2)
- Set your desired password.

3 Activate/reset WiFi function using FRESCO touch panel display
Connect the power cord of the appliance to the power socket, then turn on the WiFi function for network configuration.
1. Activate or reset the WiFi function by pressing and holding the Fan/Wifi Mode (SW6) button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED (S10) starts to blink. (Refer to User's Manual sec. 3.12)
The touch panel display shows various buttons (SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4, SW6) and indicators (S10, D1, etc.). The SW6 button is used for Wi-Fi activation/reset.
Follow step-by-step directions on the Smart Life App to connect to FRESCO for network setup.
4 Connecting FRESCO to your network using Smart Life App
Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you intend to use for the FRESCO portable AC. Please connect using a 2.4GHz network. If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, ensure you select the 2.4GHz option.
- "Log-in" to the Smart Life app using your previously set up email and password, then agree to the Privacy Policy and User's Agreement. (See Figure 3)
- Choose the device to add in the Smart Life App:
- Click on "[Add Device]" or the "[+]" icon in the top right-hand corner. (See Figure 4)
- Select "Large Home Appliances", then "Portable Air Conditioner (BLE+Wi-Fi)". (See Figure 5)
- Confirm that the Wifi function LED (S10) is on and blinking rapidly. If resetting is necessary, refer to step 3 on the previous page to perform a reset for the FRESCO.
- Click on "[Confirm indicator is blinking rapidly]". (See Figure 6)
- Click on "[Blink Quickly]". (See Figure 7)
- Confirm your network and enter the network password, then click "Next". (See Figure 8)
When the FRESCO is connected to the WiFi network, the Wifi function LED (S10) stops blinking and remains switched ON steadily on the display.

4A Connecting FRESCO using Smart Life App – Alternate Method
If you are unable to add FRESCO to the Smart Life App using the primary method, follow these directions to connect using the "Blink Slowly" option. Do not cycle power by unplugging the power cord from the outlet.
- Reset the Wifi function LED (S10) to blink slowly by pressing and holding the Fan/Wifi Mode (SW6) button for approximately 5 seconds.
- Click on "[Confirm indicator is blinking rapidly]". (See Figure 9)
- Click on "[Blink Slowly]". (See Figure 10)
- Confirm your network and enter the network password, then click "Next". (See Figure 11)
- Click "[Go to Connect]" to be directed to your mobile device's Wi-Fi settings. (See Figure 12)
- Select the FRESCO network name "Smartlife-XXXX" in your mobile device's Wi-Fi settings.
- Select "[Connect only this time]" if prompted (Android only). (See Figure 13)
- Return to the Smart Life App to finish the setup.
When the FRESCO is connected to the WiFi network, the Wifi function LED (S10) stops blinking and remains switched ON steadily on the display.
For iOS Device: Click back to "< Smart Life".
For Android Device: 1) Click the "< Wi-Fi" back button, then 2) Click the "< Connections" back button, then 3) From the open app screen, select "Smart Life App".
