Introduction

This section presents the hardware features of the computer to provide you with the basic information you will need to start using the computer.

Note: Your computer may look different from the illustrations in this topic.

1. Camera: Use the camera to take photos or make a video conference.

2. LCD Display: A flat surface, as part of a computer, on which images or words are displayed.

3. Fingerprint: The fingerprint, as part of the computer, is used to unlock devices or access protected information. Recognizing the user's unique fingerprint.

4. Touchpad: Pointing, selecting, and dragging are part of a single process that you can perform without moving your fingers from a typing position.

5. Power on/off: Press the power button to turn on the computer or put it into sleep mode.

1. MicroSD: A MicroSD is a type of memory card that can store data for various devices, such as cameras, smartphones, and laptops.

2. Audio input/output: Connect headphones or an earphone that has a 3.5 mm (0.14 inch) 4-pole plug to the audio connector to listen to the computer's sound.

Notes: • If you are using earphones with a function switch, for example, earphones for a digital mobile phone iPhone device, do not press this switch while using the earphones. If you press the switch, the earphone's microphone will be deactivated and the computer's built-in microphones will be enabled. DANGER ⚠️ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not connect the charger to the audio connector.

3. USB 3.0 Connector: The Universal Serial Bus (USB) 3.0 connector is used to connect USB-compatible devices, such as a USB printer or a digital camera. Attention: When connecting a USB cable to the USB 3.0 connector, make sure that the USB mark is facing upwards. Otherwise, the connector may be damaged.

1. USB 3.0 Connector: The Universal Serial Bus (USB) 3.0 connector is used to connect USB-compatible devices, such as a USB printer or a digital camera. Attention: When connecting a USB cable to the USB 3.0 connector, make sure that the USB mark is facing upwards. Otherwise, the connector may be damaged.

2. DC input (power connector): When the AC power adapter is connected to the AC power connector, the AC power adapter powers the computer and charges the battery.

3. Mini HDMI or HDMI: (Note: For more details, refer to the actual item). The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) connector is a digital audio and video interface that can connect a digital audio device or a compatible video monitor, such as a DVD player or a high-definition television (HDTV).

1. Cooling device: The cooling system of a laptop generally consists of fans and heat sinks, which sometimes include heat pipes or heat pipe coolers. The fans draw in surrounding air and expel it to maintain safe temperatures inside the computer.

Notes: Do not obstruct the cooling system's air vents, as this may cause overheating. Ensure that the bottom and sides of the computer's vents remain free of obstructions.

Status Indicators

The status indicators show the current status of your computer.

Note: Your computer may show slight variations from the following illustrations.

1. Power indicator: The indicator shows the power on/off status.

2. Caps lock indicator: When the indicator is on, it indicates that the Caps Lock mode is enabled. You can type all letters (AZ) in uppercase directly.

3. Numeric lock indicator: When the indicator is on, it indicates that the numeric keypad is active, otherwise the numeric keypad is inactive.

• Do not use or store it in extreme temperatures.
• DO NOT spray water or any other cleaning liquid directly onto the screen.
• Do not place the laptop near fire or other heat sources.
• Do not tamper with the batteries. Keep them away from children.
• If you travel with the computer, remember to carry it in your hand luggage.
