The package includes the following components:
- A: CPU Cooler Heatsink - The main cooling unit with heatpipes. (x1)
- B: Fan - The cooling fan. (x1)
- C: Universal Mounting Bracket - For Intel LGA 1700/1200/115X sockets. (x1)
- D: Intel Mounting Brackets - Specific brackets for Intel platforms. (x2)
- E: AMD Mounting Brackets - Specific brackets for AMD platforms. (x2)
- F: Screws - Fasteners for mounting. (x2)
- G: Thermal Paste - Applied between the CPU and heatsink for efficient heat transfer. (x1)
02. Intel & AMD Compatibility
This cooler supports various Intel and AMD CPU sockets:
- Intel: LGA 1851, LGA 1700, LGA 1200, LGA 115X. Requires components C, D, and F.
- AMD: AM5, AM4. Requires components E and F.
03. Preparation and Thermal Paste Application
Before installation, ensure the CPU cooler's base has its protective film removed. Apply a small amount of thermal paste (G) onto the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
Warning: Please peel off the protective label before you use it.
04. Intel Installation - Mounting Brackets
For Intel LGA 1851/1700/1200/115X sockets:
First, attach the universal mounting bracket (C) to the motherboard using the provided standoffs (indicated by dashed lines and circles). Ensure the bracket is oriented correctly for your specific socket type (LGA 1851/1700 or LGA 1200/115X).
Next, attach the Intel-specific mounting brackets (D) to the CPU cooler heatsink. Secure these brackets using screws (F).
05. Intel Installation - Securing the Cooler
Align the cooler assembly with the motherboard. Secure the cooler by fastening the screws (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4) in a diagonal, alternating pattern. Tighten them gradually until the cooler is firmly seated.
06. Intel Installation - Fan Attachment
Attach the fan (B) to the heatsink. The fan typically clips onto the heatsink fins. Ensure the fan's airflow direction is appropriate for your case configuration.
07. AMD Installation - Mounting Brackets
For AMD AM5/AM4 sockets:
Attach the AMD-specific mounting brackets (E) to the motherboard's stock mounting mechanism. Secure these brackets using screws (F).
08. AMD Installation - Securing the Cooler
Align the cooler assembly with the motherboard. Secure the cooler by fastening the screws (labeled 1, 2, 3, 4) in a diagonal, alternating pattern. Tighten them gradually until the cooler is firmly seated.
09. AMD Installation - Fan Attachment
Attach the fan (B) to the heatsink. The fan typically clips onto the heatsink fins. Ensure the fan's airflow direction is appropriate for your case configuration.
10. PWM Connection
Connect the fan's power cable to the "CPU FAN" header on the motherboard. This allows the motherboard to control the fan speed based on CPU temperature.
