Wireless LED Rocker Switch
The wireless LED rocker switch controls the water pump and communicates with the controller. It features AC power, LED indicators, and dual pairing capabilities for robust control.
Features
- Power Supply: AC 100V to 240V.
- Connection: 2 wires (Black for load, White for neutral).
- Functionality: Can send an activation signal to the controller by pressing down the rocker switch. Upon activation, the controller sends a signal back to turn on the LED indicator.
Benefits
- No need to run low voltage wiring from point of use back to the water heater/AutoHot Controller, saving builder on wiring costs.
- Easy installation, just connect switch to AC power in the wall near point of use.
- Long wireless range, it easily transmits through interior walls of wood frame construction.
Product Diagram and Wiring
The product illustration shows the Wireless LED Rocker Switch with four labeled components: 1. LED indicator, 2. Rocker switch button, 3. Pairing button, and 4. Port for AC power (110-240V). The wiring diagram shows the switch connected to AC power outlets using load (black) and neutral (white) wires, noting it does not require a ground connection. A user note states: 'For wireless LED rocker switch installation, run power up from the existing power outlets to the wireless temp sensor gang box, use only the load (black) and neutral (white) wires, the wireless LED rocker switch does not have a ground connection.'
LED Status Definitions
- Slow Blinking Red: Pump is running.
- Solid Red: Water is hot (high water temperature signal received).
- Off: Low water temperature signal received.
- Light Up for 1 Minute: Over delta signal received, then turns off.
- Auto Off: If no "low water temperature" signal is received within 10 minutes after a "high water temperature" signal, the LED turns off.
Pairing Operations
Pairing Controller with Wireless Rocker Switch
- Hold the grey silicon button on the controller for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode (fast blinking indicator).
- Press down the rocker switch; the LED lights up for 1 second to send a signal.
- The controller stops blinking upon receiving the signal, completing the pairing.
Pairing Wireless Rocker Switch with Controller
- Press the pairing button on the rocker switch (LED blinks fast).
- Press the grey silicon button on the controller to send a signal.
- The LED on the switch stops blinking when the signal is received, completing the pairing.
