Operation and Maintenance Manual

Introduction

The OmniAire 2200C is a robust, construction-grade negative air machine designed for demanding environments. It features a powerful blower, a full-size 12-inch deep HEPA filter, and is capable of creating both positive and negative pressure for asbestos, lead, and mold abatement projects. For general construction dust, the HEPA filter can be substituted with an economical multi-pocket bag filter. The unit also supports optional VaporTrap or OdorGuard activated carbon filters for VOC and odor control.

Operation Modes

The OmniAire 2200C can be configured for two primary modes:

  • Negative Pressure: Achieved by exhausting more air from the containment area than enters it, ensuring contaminants are drawn into the machine and filtered.
  • Positive Pressure: Achieved by supplying more filtered air into the containment area than leaks out, maintaining a cleaner environment within.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

This manual provides detailed instructions for prefilter replacement, HEPA filter replacement (including handling used filters as HAZMAT), and bag filter replacement. It also includes a troubleshooting section to address common issues such as the machine not starting, humming, shutting off prematurely, or excessive vibration. For electrical servicing, refer to the included wiring diagram.

Warranty Information

Omnitec Design provides a twelve (12) month limited warranty covering defects in material and workmanship. The warranty excludes normal wear and tear, improper handling, and unauthorized modifications.
