2. GOING FOR A RIDE

2.1 PRE-RIDING

To ensure accurate riding data, wait for the device to detect the GPS signal before riding.

If GPS signal is needed, go outside and stay away from tall buildings and trees. Keep the device still with the screen facing up, and avoid touching it while searching for GPS signal.

If a sensor was previously connected, it will automatically connect to the device upon wake-up, and the device will also automatically search for the sensor. During your ride, the device will automatically measure your heart rate, cadence, power, and other data using your sensors.

When there are at least four satellites for locating, the GPS icon will show [GPS icon], and you can start riding. For more accurate data, wait until [GPS icon with more bars] or [GPS icon with full bars] is displayed. The GPS icon becomes [GPS icon with full bars] when enough satellites are found for good GPS accuracy.

After all signals are detected, press [Play/Pause button] to enter the cycling data page.

Press [Play/Pause button] to view the riding data page.

Press [Play/Pause button] to start recording an activity on the riding data page.

Press [Lap button] to start a new lap record; the lap data will display for 10 seconds.

Press [Back button] or [Play/Pause button] to exit the lap data popup.

During riding data timing, press [Play/Pause button] to stop the timer.

Press [Menu button] to view the menu, select "Save", and press [Confirm button] again to save the recording. After successful saving, the Riding Data Summary will display.

Press [Up/Down buttons] to select and view the riding data summary.

Press [Back button] or [Play/Pause button] to close the lap data popup.

2.2 WHILE-RIDING

Scan Data View

During training, use [Up/Down buttons] to switch riding views. The displayable riding data and information depend on the selected cycling mode and your customizations.

You can set up specific pages for different cycling modes on the device and in the iGPSPORT APP. Create custom data fields for each activity mode and select the data you want to see during your ride. For more information, see the "Activity Content in Cycling Mode" section.

Status Page View

During your ride, press [Menu button] to view the Status page. This page displays information including sensors, weather, and smart notifications.

Shortcut Menu

During your ride, press [Confirm button] to open the menu and access functions like page templates, data fields, and elevation calibration.

About Elevation: The built-in barometer calculates elevation, ascent, and descent by measuring air pressure. Ascent and descent are displayed in meters/feet. In the first few minutes of riding, air pressure is calibrated automatically via GPS. Once riding begins, elevation calibration relies solely on the barometer, though air pressure may not always be accurate. Elevation will be corrected automatically later. After the ride and data sync, corrected data can be viewed in the APP.

For the most accurate elevation reading, it is recommended to manually calibrate elevation using reliable references (e.g., peaks, topographic map) or at sea level. Manual calibration can be done from the elevation view in the climbing or navigation view.

Note: Mud or dirt on the device can cause inaccurate elevation readings. Ensure the device is clean for proper barometer function.

Lap

Pressing [Lap button] allows manual lap recording. The Auto Lap function can be enabled in "Device Setting" of the iGPSPORT APP, configurable by distance, position, or time. For distance-based laps, set the desired distance. For position-based laps, the starting point is the mark point, and a lap is counted upon returning to it. For time-based laps, a lap is counted after the specified time period.

Pause/Stop

  1. Press [Play/Pause button] to pause recording.
  2. Press [Play/Pause button] again to continue.
  3. Press [Menu button] to stop recording. Select "Save" from the popup to stop the activity.

After saving the activity, you can view its details on the device.

2.3 POST-RIDING
