Using Your Cordless Leaf Blower
WARNING! Do not attempt to suck up wet debris. Allow fallen leaves etc., to dry out before use.
WARNING! Do not use the cordless leaf blower to suck up water. Water will damage the machine when entering the motor housing.
Shredding function
In Vacuum Blower mode, debris is sucked up the suction tube and ejected into the collection bag (9). The suction fan is equipped with a knife, significantly increasing shredding capacity. Shredded organic debris is ideal for mulch.
WARNING! Hard objects like stones, tin cans, or glass will damage the suction fan.
Blowing mode:
WARNING! Hard objects, such as stones, tin cans, glass etc., will be thrown away. Inspect the area to be worked before starting and remove any objects or debris that could be thrown by the leaf blower.
Emptying the collection bag.
- Select the blow function using the selector lever (8) and switch the machine on. Move the leaf blower forwards, directing the nozzle at the debris. Alternatively, hold the nozzle just above the ground and swing the machine side-to-side. Blow debris into a heap, then use the vacuum function to collect it.
Suction mode.
- Inspect the area to be worked before starting. Remove any objects or debris that could jam or become entangled. Select the vacuum function using the selector lever (8) and switch the machine on.
- Move the leaf blower forwards, directing the nozzle at the debris to be collected. Alternatively, hold the leaf blower just above the ground and swing it side-to-side.
Cleaning & Maintenance
NOTICE: Do not force the nozzle into debris, as this will block the suction tube and reduce efficiency. Organic materials with high water content may stick to the inside of the suction tube; leave them to dry for a few days.
Emptying the collection bag.
- Empty the collection bag (9) when it is approximately half full to maintain suction capacity.
- Switch the appliance off and remove the battery (13).
- Open the zipper at the base of the collection bag and empty it.
- Reclose the zipper completely.
WARNING! Risk of injury. Always switch the device off and remove the battery before carrying out any work on the device.
Cleaning
- Keep ventilation slots free from dust and dirt to prevent overheating.
- Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
- If dirt does not come off, use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
- Keep connection terminals on the device and charger clean.
- Brush any loose debris from around the fan and inside the suction/blower tube.
NOTICE: Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, or ammonia water, as these may damage plastic parts.
Maintenance
- Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight and guards are fitted correctly.
- Replace all damaged and worn parts to maintain safe working condition.
- Ensure the Vacuum/Blow selector lever operates smoothly and is not obstructed by debris.
Storage
- Ensure the cordless leaf blower is switched off and the battery is disconnected.
- Remove and empty the debris collection bag. Never leave material in the blower or bag, as this can be dangerous.
