Setting up Home Connect
Connect your appliance to a mobile device using the Home Connect app for convenient setting adjustments.
- Scan the QR code provided to install the Home Connect app.
- Follow the instructions within the app to connect your appliance.
Overview of Water Hardness Settings
Select the appropriate water hardness setting for optimal performance. The table below provides a guide:

Setting the Water Softening System
- Press the 'Setup' button.
- To access basic settings, press and hold 'Setup' for 3 seconds. The display will show 'Hxx' followed by 'set'.
- Press 'Start' repeatedly until the correct water hardness setting is displayed.
- To save the settings, press and hold 'Setup' for 3 seconds.
Adding Special Salt
Add special salt to the dispenser just before starting a program to prevent appliance damage. Never add detergent to this dispenser.
- Unscrew and remove the lid of the special salt dispenser.
- On initial start-up, fill the dispenser completely with water.
- Add special salt to the dispenser. The water will be displaced and forced out.
- Replace the lid and turn it to close.
Adding Rinse Aid
- Press the catch on the rinse aid dispenser lid and lift it.
- Add rinse aid up to the 'max' mark.
- Close the rinse aid dispenser lid; it will click into position.
Adding Detergent
Add detergent to the dry detergent dispenser.
- Open the detergent dispenser lid.
- Add the appropriate amount of detergent (e.g., 25 ml or 50 ml).
- Close the dispenser lid; it will click into position.

Programme data is measured in the laboratory according to European standard EN 60436. Consumption figures vary based on selected programs and additional functions.

How to Use Your Appliance
- Load the dishwasher with suitable tableware, ensuring large food remnants are removed and spray arms can rotate freely.
- Add detergent.
- Switch on the appliance.
- Select the desired program.
- Start the program by pressing the 'Start' button.
- Remove tableware at the end of the program.
- To cancel a program, press and hold 'Reset' for approximately 4 seconds. The program will cancel and end within about 1 minute.
Cleaning Filters
- After each wash, check filters for residue.
- Turn the coarse filter anticlockwise and remove the filter system.
- Pull down the micro filter to remove it.
- Press the locking catches together and lift the coarse filter out.
- Clean the filter elements under running water.
- Reassemble the filter system.
- Insert the filter system into the appliance and turn the coarse filter clockwise, ensuring arrow markings align.
Cleaning Spray Arms
- Unscrew the upper spray arm and pull down to remove it.
- Pull up the lower spray arm to remove it.
- Check the outlet nozzles on the spray arms for blockages under running water and remove any foreign objects.
- Insert the lower spray arm; it will click into position.
- Insert the upper spray arm and screw it firmly in place.
Clean Wastewater Pump
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Remove the filter system.
- Scoop out any remaining water.
- Use a spoon to prise off the pump cover and grip it by the crosspiece.
- Lift the pump cover inwards at an angle and remove it.
- Remove any food remnants and foreign bodies from the impeller area.
- Insert the pump cover and press down until it clicks into position.
- Install the filter system.
Troubleshooting
Fault: E:32-00 or water supply indicator lights up.
- Cause: Supply hose is kinked. Troubleshooting: Install the supply hose without kinks.
- Cause: Water tap is turned off or jammed/furred up. Troubleshooting: Turn on the water tap. Ensure the flow rate is at least 10 l/min.
- Cause: Filters in the water connection or AquaStop hose are blocked. Troubleshooting: Switch off the appliance, pull the mains plug, turn off the water tap, unscrew the water connection, remove and clean the filter, re-insert the filter, screw the connection back on, check for leaks, restore power, and switch on the appliance.
Fault: E:61-02
- Cause: Wastewater pump is blocked. Troubleshooting: Clean the wastewater pump.
- Cause: Wastewater pump cover is loose. Troubleshooting: Secure the pump cover until it clicks into position.
- Cause: Filters are soiled or blocked. Troubleshooting: Clean the filters.
- Cause: Filters are inserted incorrectly or not engaged. Troubleshooting: Insert and engage the filters properly.
- Cause: Washing program selected is too weak. Troubleshooting: Select a more intensive washing program.
- Cause: Amount of rinse aid dispensed is set too high. Troubleshooting: Set the rinse aid system to a lower setting.
- Cause: No rinse aid added. Troubleshooting: Add rinse aid.
Fault: E:92-40
- Cause: Remnants of food on tableware. Troubleshooting: Arrange tableware with sufficient space, ensure spray jets reach surfaces, and avoid contact points. Check that spray arms are not blocked.
- Cause: Removable streaks on glasses or cutlery. Troubleshooting: Ensure cutlery is sufficiently rust-resistant and not washed with rusting items. Check spray arms are not blocked, allowing detergent to be rinsed out.
- Cause: Detergent residue in the dispenser or tray. Troubleshooting: Clean the filters.
- Cause: All LEDs light up or flash, or the rinse program does not continue. Troubleshooting: Electronics have detected a fault. Press the main switch button for approx. 4 seconds to reset and restart the appliance.
