Tips & Tricks

Washing Clothes

Stubborn Stains

For some stains, water and detergent alone may not be sufficient. We recommend pre-treating these stains before placing them in the machine. Various stain removers are available. Use stain removers suitable for the type of stain and fabric.

Detergent and Additives

Environmental Care

Always start the wash program with the maximum allowed load.

Maintenance & Cleaning

⚠️ Please refer to the "Safety" chapter.

External Cleaning

Clean the machine with mild soapy water only. Dry the entire surface thoroughly.

Descaling

⚠️ Do not use methylated spirits, solvents, or chemical products.

If your water hardness is high or medium, we recommend using a descaling product for washing machines.

Cleaning Detergent Dispenser

Maintenance Wash

If low-temperature programs are used, some detergent may remain in the drum. Run a maintenance wash periodically. Follow these steps:

Cleaning Inlet Hose and Drain Filter

Cleaning Inlet Hose and Valve Filter

Cleaning Drain Filter

ℹ️ Do not clean the drain filter if the water inside the machine is hot. Wait for it to cool down.

Diagram showing steps to clean the drain filter.

Frost Protection

If the machine is installed in a location where the temperature may drop below 0°C, drain the remaining water from the inlet hose and drain pump. ℹ️ You can also perform an emergency drain using this procedure.

  1. Turn off the water tap and disconnect the inlet hose.
  2. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink or drain outlet.
  3. Place the ends of the drain and inlet hoses in a container. Let the water flow out of the hoses.
  4. Set the "Drain" program and let it run until it finishes.
  5. Turn the program knob to "Stop" to switch off the machine.
  6. Unplug the washing machine's power cord.

⚠️ When you use the machine again, ensure the temperature is above 0°C. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by low temperatures.
