Tractor Hydraulics

IMPORTANT: Check hydraulic oil level. Fill the reservoir if necessary. Set System Control Valve (SCV) flow rates and detent times as shown in the following table.

Unfolding the Boom – from Transport Position to Field Position

  1. Disengage the Wing Transport Safety Pins on the Transport Rests.
  2. Engage and detent SCV I.
  3. Hold the AutoFold Switch in Field Position (“Out” or down) until the Wings are fully unfolded. They will be in-line with the Center Section when fully unfolded.
  4. Remove Transport Cylinder Locks from both main Lift Cylinders.
  5. Double tap down the AutoFold switch to start automatic Boom height control.

Folding the Boom – from Field Position to Transport Position

  1. Engage and detent SCV I.
  2. Hold the AutoFold Switch in Transport Position (“In” or up) until the Wings are fully folded. They will be seated in their Transport Rests when fully folded.
  3. Disengage SCV I.
  4. Install Transport Cylinder Locks on both main Lift Cylinders.
  5. Engage the Wing Transport Safety Pins on the Transport Rests.
  6. Install Steerable Hitch Cylinder Locks on both Steerable Hitch Cylinders (if equipped).
