What's in the Box

Understand Your Audio System

The Gorilla GS29 Soundbar features backlit speakers, a control panel, and a backlit subwoofer. It includes various input and output sockets:

The soundbar also has seven color breathing lights: red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, purple, and white.

Power On / Off

To power on the SoundBar:

  1. Insert the appropriate 12V plug cable into the power input socket.
  2. After powering on, briefly press the power switch key [power-symbol] to turn on the machine.

To power off the SoundBar:

  1. Short press the power switch key [power-symbol] while in the power-on state.

Fuse Information: The unit uses a 15 Amp Blade Fuse. If the fuse holder is wet, do not remove the fuse to avoid electric shock. Ensure the bottle cap clicks into place when closing.

WARNING: The SoundBar requires an external 12VDC power supply. Ensure your vehicle's battery or voltage regulator is 12VDC. A DC-DC converter may be needed if the voltage is not 12V. Using a non-12VDC source can cause damage.

BT Operation

Pairing BT Devices

  1. After powering on, switch to BT mode. The 'BT' icon will flash.
  2. Turn on the BT function on your phone and search for 'GS29' to connect.
  3. Upon successful pairing, the 'BT' character will remain lit, and a 'BT connected' sound will play.
  4. You can now play music from your mobile device.

If the phone disconnects or goes out of range, the 'BT' character will flash, and a 'BT disconnected' sound will play.

If a password is required, use '0000' or '1234'.

Radio Mode

  1. In power-on mode, short press the MODE key [mode-symbol] to select radio mode.
  2. Short press the mute key [mute-symbol] to activate mute mode; press again to deactivate.
  3. Long press the scan key [scan-symbol] to automatically search and store radio stations. Up to 18 stations can be stored.

USB Operation

  1. In boot mode, short press the MODE key [mode-symbol] to select USB mode. USB mode is skipped if no USB drive is detected.
  2. Press the play/pause button [play-pause-symbol] to start playing music.
  3. Press the play/pause button [play-pause-symbol] again to pause playback.
  4. Press the next track button [skip-forward-symbol] to play the next song.
  5. Press the previous track button [skip-back-symbol] to play the previous song.

AUX Operation

  1. In boot mode, short press the MODE key [mode-symbol] to select AUX mode. AUX mode is skipped if no 3.5mm audio socket is detected.
  2. Short press the mute key [mute-symbol] to enter silent mode.
  3. Short press the mute key [mute-symbol] again to release mute mode.
  4. Press the next track button [skip-forward-symbol] to play the next song.
  5. Press the previous track button [skip-back-symbol] to play the previous song.

BT Broadcast

The BT broadcast function allows multiple SOUNDBAR units to play audio synchronously. You can define one unit as the host and others as slaves.

Broadcast Connection

  1. Host Setup: In power-on state (BT or USB mode), long press the BT key [bluetooth-symbol] on the host panel to enter broadcast connection mode and search for slaves.
  2. Slave Setup: Long press the BT key [bluetooth-symbol] on the slave panel (must be in BT or USB mode) to connect. Other modes do not support this function.
  3. Broadcast function automatically searches for connections.
  4. After successful connection, the host and slaves will play the same audio source. The first speaker to enter broadcast mode is the host; subsequent speakers are slaves.

Note: Slave machines cannot return control to the host. Karaoke function only supports local audio and not broadcast transmission/playback. Remote control functions are similar.

Installation Diagram

Follow these steps for installation:

  1. Insert the left and right brackets into the grooves on both sides of the host and tighten with screws using a hexagonal spoon.
  2. At a suitable location on the vehicle, fix the upper mounting bracket with screws and anti-slip rubber pads. Adjust the lower mounting bracket to align with the host's mounting bracket and tighten with screws.
