Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

⚠️ ATTENTION: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury:

Product Description

The H.Koenig TC30s Hugo is a bagless cyclonic vacuum cleaner designed for efficient household cleaning. It features a removable dust collector and comes with various accessories for different surfaces and tasks.

Visual Description: The appliance is a wheeled vacuum cleaner with a transparent dust collection bin. It includes a flexible hose, chrome-finished extension tubes, and multiple cleaning attachments such as a crevice tool, dusting brush, and floor nozzle.

Assembly and Setup

Connecting the Hose

To connect the flexible hose, insert it into the air inlet on the top of the appliance until it clicks into place. To remove the hose, unplug the appliance and pull firmly on the hose to detach it from the air inlet.

Adjusting Extension Tubes and Accessories

The telescopic extension tubes can be adjusted for optimal reach. Different cleaning accessories can be attached to the end of the extension tube or hose handle.

Using Cleaning Tools

The vacuum cleaner is supplied with several accessories:

Operating Instructions

Before using the appliance, unroll the power cord sufficiently and plug it into the electrical outlet. A yellow mark on the power cord indicates the maximum recommended length; do not unroll the cable beyond the red mark.

  1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the appliance on.
  2. To rewind the power cord, press the rewind button with one hand and guide the cable with the other to ensure it does not whip through the air and cause damage.
  3. The vacuum cleaner has a variable control knob that allows you to increase or decrease suction power according to your needs.

Maintenance

Emptying the Dust Collector

Use the vacuum cleaner only when its dust collector is properly in place. If the ultra-filter (motor inlet) or dust filter (motor outlet) is forgotten or incorrectly attached, the removable dust collector may not fit correctly.

Steps:

Cleaning and Replacing Filters

The dust filter should be cleaned when it becomes visibly stiff. Clean the ultra-filter when it appears blocked. Filters must be correctly installed when operating the vacuum cleaner; otherwise, reduced suction power may occur, potentially damaging the motor.

Cleaning and Replacing the Dust Filter

(a) Open the dust collector and rotate the filter to unlock it.

(b) Remove the filter.

(c) Rinse the filter with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly (the filter can be cleaned with a brush).

(d) Reinsert the filter and rotate it to lock it.

Changing the Ultra-Filter

(a) Open the grille at the motor outlet.

(b) Locate the ultra-filter there.

(c) Remove it and replace it with a clean filter.

It is recommended to change the dust filter and ultra-filter every 6 months.
