Maintenance
Emptying the Dust Collector
Use the vacuum cleaner only when its dust collector is properly in place. If the ultra-filter (motor inlet) or dust filter (motor outlet) is forgotten or incorrectly attached, the removable dust collector may not fit correctly.
Steps:
- Unlock the dust collector.
- Remove it from the appliance.
- Remove the lid and empty it.
- Reassemble the dust collector.
- Place it back in its housing and lock it.
Cleaning and Replacing Filters
The dust filter should be cleaned when it becomes visibly stiff. Clean the ultra-filter when it appears blocked. Filters must be correctly installed when operating the vacuum cleaner; otherwise, reduced suction power may occur, potentially damaging the motor.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning the filters.
- Do not wash filters in a washing machine.
- Do not use a hairdryer to dry them.
Cleaning and Replacing the Dust Filter
(a) Open the dust collector and rotate the filter to unlock it.
(b) Remove the filter.
(c) Rinse the filter with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly (the filter can be cleaned with a brush).
(d) Reinsert the filter and rotate it to lock it.
Changing the Ultra-Filter
(a) Open the grille at the motor outlet.
(b) Locate the ultra-filter there.
(c) Remove it and replace it with a clean filter.
It is recommended to change the dust filter and ultra-filter every 6 months.
