Your VISSANI Window Air Conditioner is protected by this Limited Warranty.
Warranty Service
Warranty service must be obtained from VISSANI Consumer Services or an authorized VISSANI servicer.
Warranty Coverage
Duration: Two-year Limited Warranty from the original purchase date.
VISSANI, through its authorized servicers, will pay all costs for repairing or replacing parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials or workmanship.
Consumer Responsibilities
The consumer will be responsible for:
- Diagnostics, removal, transportation, and reinstallation costs required because of service.
- Costs of service calls resulting from items listed under "Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer".
VISSANI replacement parts will be used and will be warranted only for the period remaining on the original warranty.
Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer
This warranty applies only to products in ordinary household use. The consumer is responsible for the following:
- Proper use of the appliance in accordance with the provided instructions.
- Routine maintenance and cleaning necessary to keep the appliance in good working condition.
- Proper installation by an authorized service professional, following provided instructions and all applicable local plumbing, electrical, and gas codes.
- Proper connection to a grounded power supply of sufficient voltage, replacement of blown fuses, and repair of loosened connections or defects in wiring.
- Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing.
- Damages to the finish after installation.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Failure caused by damage to the unit while in our possession (other than damage caused by defect or malfunction), by improper installation, or by unreasonable use of the product, including but not limited to, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance or to follow the written Installation and Operating Instructions.
- Products purchased "as-is" or refurbished.
- Products transferred from their original owner.
- Interior or exterior rust on the unit.
- Damages caused by services performed by unauthorized persons, use of non-VISSANI parts, or external causes such as abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, or acts of God.
- Service calls resulting from improper installation.
- Service calls to instruct on product use.
- Surcharges for after-hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip charges, or mileage expenses for service calls to remote areas, including the state of Alaska.
- Use of the unit for commercial, business, rental, or other applications besides consumer use.
- Products removed from the USA or Canada.
- Products without original serial numbers or with altered or unreadable serial numbers.
Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
If You Need Service
Keep your bill of sale, delivery slip, or other appropriate payment record. This document establishes the warranty period commencement date for service. It is recommended to obtain and keep all receipts for any performed service.
This written warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
