Precautions for Connecting with a Twisted-Pair Transmitter
For Installation / Connection
- Request a retailer or qualified technician to perform the DIGITAL LINK cabling. Insufficient cabling may prevent transmission characteristics from being applied, resulting in truncated or saturated images and sound.
- The transmission distance between the twisted-pair transmitter and this product can be up to 100 meters. For 4K signals, the maximum distance is 50 meters. When the transmitter supports the [Long Range] communication mode, the transmission distance can extend up to 150 meters. Note that exceeding these limits may cause video or audio interruptions, or network communication malfunctions. Furthermore, depending on the transmitter's specifications, the transmissible video signals or transmission distance may be limited when using the [Long Range] communication mode.
- Do not use a hub between the twisted-pair transmitter and this product.
- When connecting this product using a twisted-pair transmitter (receiver) from another manufacturer, do not use an intermediate twisted-pair transmitter. This may cause image and sound interruptions or instability.
- If possible, keep the cable extended and uncoiled to minimize internal and external noise.
- Route the twisted-pair transmitter cables and position this product away from other cables, especially power cables.
- When running multiple cables, keep them as close as possible to each other, running parallel and not bundled.
- Signal quality cannot be verified on models that do not support DIGITAL LINK signal quality display on the on-screen menu. After extending cables, ensure the signal quality is -12 dB or below on models that support this display.
