Handling and Operation

Preparation

  1. Check the maximum input voltage of the device you intend to charge. Refer to the device's operating instructions for this information.
  2. When using connector sockets (6-8), ensure the maximum total power consumption does not exceed 1000 mA (approx. 333 mA per socket). USB ports (4+5) can each handle up to 2100 mA. Consult the device's operator manual for details.
  3. Determine the required adapter cable for your device (refer to the compatibility table on pages 26-28).

Charging of 5V Devices

  1. Remove the cover from the charging station. Connect the plug of the appropriate adapter cable to one of the connection sockets (6-8), or the iPod/iPhone/iPad cable (22) to one of the USB ports (4+5).
  2. Replace the cover on the charging station, feeding the adapter cable through the cut-out on the front panel of the cover.
  3. Plug the other end of the adapter cable into the device's power supply socket. The device will now receive power from the charging station. If the device has a charge indicator, it will show that charging is in progress.
