Electrical Connection
❗ ATTENTION:
- Before connecting, compare the device's required input voltage (from its rating plate) with the intended voltage source. Data must match to prevent damage.
- Ensure the mains power supply unit's (9) cable is undamaged and not routed across hot surfaces or sharp edges.
- Ensure the mains power supply unit's (9) cable is not stretched or kinked.
- Plug the mains power supply unit (9) into a wall socket. The operation LED (10) will light up.
- Connect the mains power supply unit (9) to the charging station by inserting the plug into connection socket (2) on the rear of the device. The operating LEDs (1) will glow.
Handling and Operation
Preparation
- Check the maximum input voltage of the device you intend to charge. Refer to the device's operating instructions for this information.
- When using connector sockets (6-8), ensure the maximum total power consumption does not exceed 1000 mA (approx. 333 mA per socket). USB ports (4+5) can each handle up to 2100 mA. Consult the device's operator manual for details.
- Determine the required adapter cable for your device (refer to the compatibility table on pages 26-28).
Charging of 5V Devices
- Remove the cover from the charging station. Connect the plug of the appropriate adapter cable to one of the connection sockets (6-8), or the iPod/iPhone/iPad cable (22) to one of the USB ports (4+5).
- Replace the cover on the charging station, feeding the adapter cable through the cut-out on the front panel of the cover.
- Plug the other end of the adapter cable into the device's power supply socket. The device will now receive power from the charging station. If the device has a charge indicator, it will show that charging is in progress.
ℹ️ NOTICE:
- This charging station is powerful enough to use all three connection sockets (6-8) and the USB ports (4+5) simultaneously. However, the total power consumption of connected devices must not exceed 5200 mA (1000 mA total for connection sockets 6-8, and 2100 mA each for USB ports 4+5).
- When charging, iPads or other tablets can be placed in the retaining device (3).
