How do I set a preferred softphone in Jabra Direct?

Prerequisites

If you have multiple softphones installed, you can select a preferred softphone. Follow these steps.

  1. Open Jabra Direct.
  2. On the left menu, click Settings.
  3. In Softphone Integration > Preferred Softphone, select your preference.

If your organisation has decided to manage the setting centrally, this will be indicated by a [lock icon].

The Jabra Direct software interface is displayed. On the left-hand side, a navigation menu includes options such as 'Device', 'Bluetooth', 'General Settings', 'Updates', 'Settings', 'Feedback', and 'Help'. The main content area shows the 'Settings' panel. Within this panel, under the 'Softphone Integration' section, there is a 'Preferred Softphone' option. This option is configured to use 'Microsoft Teams' as the selected softphone for connected devices. Other settings visible in the panel include 'Allow Notifications' and 'Enable Jabra Direct in Tray'.
