Dantherm I-PAC PRO Range: High-Performance Swimming Pool Inverter Heat Pumps

Ideal for indoor and outdoor pools in hotels, spas, health clubs, and wellness centres.

High-Performance Pool Heating

The I-PAC PRO range represents the next generation of high-performance inverter heat pumps, specifically engineered for energy-efficient heating and cooling of swimming pools. Utilizing cutting-edge technology and eco-friendly components, the I-PAC PRO offers a reliable and energy-efficient solution for a wide array of pool applications. This includes outdoor and indoor pools, hotel and spa pools, therapy pools, health clubs, and wellness centres.

The combination of advanced features and user-friendly controls makes the I-PAC PRO range an ideal choice for both commercial and private settings. Its quiet operation, robust performance, and remote monitoring capabilities ensure unparalleled convenience, performance, and comfort throughout the year.

Key Features and Benefits

  • All-Year Use

The I-PAC PRO heat pumps operate seamlessly in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +43°C, making them suitable for year-round usage, even in extreme climates. Three operational modes – Turbo, Perfect, and Silence – provide flexibility for peak performance or ultra-quiet operation.

  • Eco-Friendly and Energy-Efficient Technology

In compliance with EU F-Gas regulations, the I-PAC PRO models utilize the eco-friendly R32 refrigerant, ensuring environmental responsibility. The inverter technology and titanium condenser maximize efficiency and provide durability.

  • Advanced Control and Connectivity

An integrated touchscreen user interface provides real-time information on water temperatures, power consumption, and operating modes. A built-in Wi-Fi module allows remote monitoring and control via the Pooltherm App (available for Android and iOS). The system supports over-the-air firmware updates for continuous optimization.

  • Remote Fault Diagnostics

Remote monitoring and fault diagnostics enable continuous checking of each unit's performance. Technicians can identify and resolve issues remotely using built-in sensors and fault codes, often without requiring a site visit, ensuring rapid repairs.

  • Low Noise Operation

A new cabinet design reduces overall sound levels by up to 5dB(A) at 10 metres compared to previous models. An additional silence mode further minimizes noise for sensitive locations.

  • Durable and Enduring Design

Built to withstand tough environmental conditions, the heat pump features a durable aluminum alloy weatherproof cabinet and anti-vibration mounts for quieter operation. A soft startup function protects the unit and the electrical system.

Performance and Efficiency

Inverter swimming pool heat pump technology enhances temperature control and reduces energy consumption, wear, and tear.

Low Running Costs and Minimal Wear

Unlike traditional on/off solutions, the I-PAC PRO inverter heat pumps use stepless inverter compressors that adjust their speed to match the exact heating demand. This results in more precise temperature control, reduced energy consumption, and quieter operation, with a COP improved to a maximum of 20. The ability to run only when necessary minimizes wear on components, extending the system's lifespan and lowering overall running costs.

Cooling and Heating Improvements

The I-PAC PRO units can cool water down to 5°C, making them ideal for hydrotherapy pools and other applications requiring chilled water. Models 28A and 36B offer extended heating capacities of up to 32.5 kW (230V single phase) and 40.5 kW (400V three phase), respectively, suitable for larger pools or cooler climates.

Efficiency Comparison

Approximate Heating Method Efficiency Chart Description: This chart illustrates the energy efficiency of various heating methods. It shows that Dantherm I-PAC PRO inverter heat pumps consume approximately half the energy of traditional on/off heat pumps and about one-tenth of the energy required by gas or electric heating systems, highlighting significant energy savings and lower running costs.

Temperature Control

Temperature Control Chart Description: This chart demonstrates the superior temperature regulation of an inverter heat pump compared to a traditional on/off heat pump. The inverter heat pump maintains a steady desired pool temperature with smooth adjustments, utilizing modes like 'Turbo' for rapid pool start-up and 'Perfect' for consistent day-to-day operation, avoiding the wider temperature fluctuations typical of on/off systems.

Available Models

The I-PAC PRO range includes the following models: I-PAC PRO 10A, I-PAC PRO 16A, I-PAC PRO 22A, I-PAC PRO 22B, I-PAC PRO 28A, I-PAC PRO 28B, and I-PAC PRO 36B.
