Installation instructions and tips for Royal Rascals® Car Window Shades Thank you for purchasing our Royal Rascals® Car Window Shades. Below are some important tips to help install your Royal Rascals® Car Window Shades perfectly. 1. For most car doors it's usually easiest to fit the shade over the entire top of the car window frame first (rather than fitting one side of the window shade first). Then guide the sun shade evenly down each side of the car window frame, while ensuring the sun shade doesn't catch on any sharp corners or edges. 2. Adjust until the shade fits well and covers the entire window (and looks good!) The seam at the top of the window shade should run along the top of the car window frame. The Royal Rascals logos should be closest to the door hinges and the Velcro anti-slide strap on the outer edge of the door jamb. 3. The Velcro anti-slide strap (with sticker) can be used to affix the window shade to the inside door jamb and keep it from sliding up should it be needed (depending on the shape of your windows). Ensure the area you are affixing the Velcro strap to is clean, dry, and free of dirt and dust before affixing the Velcro strap. In many cases the Velcro strap isn't required and can just be tucked up inside the Window Shade. Tip: Do not pull the anti-slide tag tight. It just needs to lightly hold the bottom of the window shade in place to prevent it from sliding up the window. 4. Opening the Window - the great thing about the Royal Rascals® Car Window Shade is you can still open the window normally for ventilation (unlike traditional stick on window shades). Remember to close the window when you exit your vehicle! An added benefit is the sun shade cannot fall off or be removed accidentally by your baby or toddler during your travels ensuring your little one is fully protected for the duration of your trip.
