L'Or Barista Coffee Machine: Setup, Operation, and Maintenance Guide
Welcome to your L'Or Barista coffee machine. This guide provides essential information for setup, brewing, personalization, cleaning, and descaling.
Before First Use
- Step 1: Unpack the coffee machine. ?
- Step 2: Rinse the water tank under a tap. ?
- Step 3: Insert the water tank into the machine. ⬇️
- Step 4: Remove the drip tray and place a cup. ❌
- Step 5: Fill the water tank with water and place a cup under the spout. ?
- Step 6: Press the power button. ?
- Step 7: Run a cleaning cycle by allowing water to dispense for approximately 25 seconds. ?
- Step 8: Empty the used water from the cup and drip tray. ✔️
- Step 9: Rinse the drip tray. ?
Prepare Coffee
Follow these steps to brew your coffee:
- Step 1: Insert a coffee capsule into the machine.
- Step 2: Fill the water tank. ?
- Step 3: Insert the water tank. ⬇️
- Step 4: Place a cup under the spout and select your desired capsule type (Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, or Grand Café Filtre).
- Step 5: Close the capsule compartment lever. ⬅️
- Step 6: Press the coffee button. ?
- Step 7: Coffee will be dispensed into your cup. ☕➡️?

- Ristretto: 25 ml ?
- Double Ristretto (XXL): 2 x 25 ml = 50 ml ??
- Espresso: 40 ml ?
- Double Espresso (XXL): 2 x 40 ml = 80 ml ??

- Double Lungo (XXL): 2 x 110 ml = 220 ml ??

Drink Personalization
Program your preferred drink volume:
- Step 1-6: Prepare the machine as for brewing coffee.
- Step 7: Press and hold the desired coffee button (Ristretto, Espresso, or Lungo) for 4 seconds to enter programming mode. The button will flash. ?
- Step 8: Release the button when the desired coffee volume is reached. The machine will stop dispensing. The new volume is now memorized. ?

Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance:
- Step 1: Remove the used capsule. ⬇️
- Step 2: Empty the capsule container. ?️
- Step 3: Remove the drip tray and cup. ✔️
- Step 4: Remove the capsule holder. ⬆️
- Step 5: Dispose of used capsules. ?️
- Step 6: Clean the capsule holder and drip tray.
- Step 7: Rinse these parts under a tap. ?
- Step 8: Reassemble the machine.
- Step 9: Insert the capsule holder. ⬆️
- Step 10: Rinse the spout area. ?
- Step 11: Insert the drip tray. ⬇️
Descaling
Descale your machine regularly to remove mineral deposits:
- Step 1: Ensure the machine is on and the water tank is empty. ❌
- Step 2: Pour descaling solution into a container. ?
- Step 3: Fill the container with 1.5L of water.
- Step 4: Pour the descaling solution and water mixture into the water tank. ?
- Step 5: Place a large container (minimum 1.5L capacity) under the spout.
- Step 6: Fill the water tank with the descaling mixture. ?
- Step 7: Press and hold the Lungo button for 3 seconds to start the descaling cycle. ?
- Step 8: The descaling process will run for approximately 30 minutes. ⏱️
- Step 9: The machine indicates the descaling cycle is complete. ✔️
- Step 10: Empty the container and rinse it thoroughly. ?
- Step 11: Rinse the water tank. ?
- Step 12: Fill the water tank with fresh water. ?
- Step 13: Place the large container (minimum 1.5L capacity) under the spout.
- Step 14: Insert the water tank. ⬇️
- Step 15: Press the Lungo button to start the rinsing cycle (approximately 3 minutes). ?
- Step 16: Rinsing is complete. ✔️
