DocumentDocumentBLUETOOTH MODULE BT-01 Please carefully follow the instructions in this manual to obtain the optimal usage and ensure long trouble-free use of your equipment. 1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The BT-01 is a Bluetooth module which allows Bluetooth Connectivity for use with TOA's 9000M2, 900, 700 and BG-2000 series amplifiers. 2. NOMENCLATURE AND FUNCTIONS 1. BT Connection LED Indicates when BT connection is Active. 2. Toggle Switch Toggle up to Reset, Toggle down to Pair. 3. Dry Contact Control Short 1 and 2 to Pair, Short 3 and 4 to reset. 4. DC Power Power with DC Adapter. 5. Antenna Connect External Antenna provided. 6. Power LED Indicates when device is powered. Never shut down the power supply nor remove this AC adaptor's connector when the amplifier this module is inserted into is ready to output audio, as doing so, it may cause a noise, damage of speakers or amplifier, and hearing impairments. TOA Canada Corporation 3. SETUP A. Insert the BT-01 into the 900 series device slot. B. Connect the antenna to the BT-01. C. Connect the DC power to the BT-01. D. Pair your device with the BT-01. E. Acknowledge the Bluetooth Pairing Request prompt on your device and select Pair. F. Flick the toggle switch down to Pair (This action will initiate the connection to the device). G. Verify the connection on the module (indicated by a solid blue LED) H. Optional: You can remotely wire a third-party accessory wall plate for easier access for pairing and resetting. I. Optional: You can also extend the antenna cable to allow for better placement and reception (i.e. outside a rack, etc.). TOA Canada Corporation 4.
