Height Requirement: If cabinets exceed 36¾ inches high, install on a hard, heat-resistant support to align with the countertop.
Clearances:
- * 30" minimum clearance between the top of the cooking surface and the bottom of an unprotected wood or metal cabinet.
- * 24" minimum clearance when the bottom of the wood or metal cabinet is protected by flame retardant millboard and sheet steel.
- ** 15" minimum clearance between the countertop and the adjacent cabinet bottom.
