Fan Operation
Fan Speeds: Three speed settings provide the user with total control of the fan's speed via a button press.
Grease Disposal
WARNING! Do not remove grease cups immediately after cooking or if grease is still hot.
Nonstick-coated fan blades separate grease from the air, directing it into a grease cup for easy disposal. The grease cup, along with a bracket and screws, is provided in the packaging. It can be used with mesh filters on certain models, while others may only accommodate one type of filter.
Tip: Soak all parts in soapy water if there is heavy grease.
Changing Light Bulbs
WARNING! Ensure that lights have fully cooled before changing bulbs.
Firmly press your fingers against the light bulb and twist in a clockwise direction until loosened. [Rotation Symbol] ?

Exterior
Stainless Steel
To maintain the stainless steel exterior, wipe the surface with a gentle cloth and mild soap (e.g., Dawn dish soap). Follow this with a stainless-steel cleanser and a gentle cloth suitable for stainless steel finishes. For stubborn grease or oil buildup, a chemical solvent such as paint thinner, varsol, or acetone can be applied to a rag for wiping stainless steel surfaces ONLY. DO NOT USE ON PAINTED SURFACES. Ensure the chemical solvent does not come into contact with any plastic components.
Baffle Filters
With Latches
Removal: To remove baffle filters, pull the latch down with one hand on the filter to support it, then pull the filter downwards and away from the machine. The filters should not be taken apart. For stubborn grease, soak the filters in warm water before placing them in the dishwasher.

Can I install a Cyclone Range Hood myself?
Installing a Cyclone Range Hood is generally straightforward, and detailed installation instructions are provided. However, range hood installation is not recommended for individuals unfamiliar with electrical work or general handy tasks.
What is the minimum mounting height between the range top to hood bottom?
The minimum mounting height between the cooking surface and the bottom of the range hood should be no less than 30 inches above a gas range and 28 inches above an electric range or ceramic cooktop. The maximum height should be no more than 36 inches above a gas range and 34 inches above an electric or ceramic cooktop. The hood must be installed at the correct mounting height. Hoods mounted too low may result in heat damage, and hoods mounted too high may have impaired performance.
How often do I clean my Cyclone Range Hood?
Cyclone recommends cleaning range hoods at least once every month. However, cleaning frequency should also reflect individual cooking habits and the intensity of cooking.
What is the difference between a mesh and a baffle filter?
Most Cyclone Range Hood wall mount models come standard with mesh filters, which can be exchanged for Baffle Filters. Baffle filters are a durable, stainless-steel alternative to aluminum mesh filters. They capture more grease and offer a more pleasant aesthetic.
Can I get a longer chimney flue to reach my high ceilings?
Cyclone Canopy range hoods can accommodate almost any ceiling height. Extended chimney pieces can be purchased from certain retailers. Consult with your retailer to confirm availability for your specific needs. Alternatively, the correct chimney portions can be purchased directly from Cyclone Range Hoods. Cyclone does not offer exchanges for chimney sizes once an order has been received.
