Operation Instructions

Control Panel Operations

  • SELECT: Confirms large ice or small ice mode.
  • ON/OFF: Press briefly to turn the ice maker on or off. Press and hold for 5 seconds (in standby mode) to initiate the auto-cleaning cycle.
  • ICE FULL Indicator: Illuminates when the ice basket is full.
  • ADD WATER Indicator: Illuminates when the water reservoir is low.
  • POWER Indicator: Illuminates when the unit is powered on; flashes during power-on or power-off transitions.
  • CLEAN Indicator: Illuminates when the ice maker enters self-cleaning mode.
  • LARGE Indicator: Illuminates when the large ice mode is selected.
  • SMALL Indicator: Illuminates when the small ice mode is selected.

Note: The actual control panel may differ between models.

Before First Use

  1. Keep the unit upright for 24 hours before plugging it in.
  2. Check all accessories. Contact customer service if any parts are missing.
  3. Clean the ice maker thoroughly before the first use.
  4. Check that the drain plug is sealed before filling the reservoir.
  5. Discard the ice produced during the first 4 cycles.
  6. Use the ice maker in locations with ambient temperatures between 50°F and 90°F (10°C-32°C).

Note: Due to temperature variations and other factors, ice quality should stabilize after the first 1-3 cycles.

Important 'Don'ts':

  • Do not use on an unstable base.
  • Do not add any liquids other than potable water.
  • Do not use at temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or excessively high temperatures.

How to Use Your Ice Maker

  1. Open the lid and remove the ice basket.
  2. Pour potable water into the reservoir, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX fill line.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button to start the machine.
  4. Press the SELECT button to choose the desired ice size (Large or Small).
  5. Wait approximately 6-8 minutes for ice production. This time may vary based on ambient temperature and ice size.
  6. The ICE FULL indicator will turn red when the ice basket is full.
  7. When the ADD WATER indicator turns red, add water and press the ON/OFF button to resume operation.
  8. Remove ice promptly to prevent it from melting.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To keep your ice cubes fresh and the appliance looking its best, cleaning once a week is recommended.

Auto-Cleaning (15-minute process)

  1. Remove the ice basket and add water to the reservoir.
  2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to launch auto-cleaning.
  3. Drain the water reservoir using the drain plug.
  4. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild dish soap.

Manual Cleaning

Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.

  1. Remove the ice basket.
  2. Clean using a soft cloth with warm water and vinegar. Clean the water filter, ice shovel, and evaporator to prevent dirt accumulation.
  3. Drain the water reservoir using the drain plug.
  4. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild dish soap. Do not clean the appliance with water.

Cleaning and Maintenance Do's and Don'ts:

  • Do not use organic solvents, boiling water, detergents, strong acids, or strong alkalis for cleaning.
  • When the appliance is not used for a long period, completely drain the water and dry the interior.
  • Store the appliance in a well-ventilated area.

Troubleshooting

Users can resolve the following simple problems. Please call after-sales service if problems are not resolved.

Poor heat dissipation. Leave a 6-inch space on each side of the ice maker for ventilation.
Poor ice shape or quality. Water temperature is too high. Fill with water between 46°F and 77°F (8°C-25°C). Use the ice maker in rooms with temperatures between 50°F and 90°F (10°C-32°C).
Evaporator deformation. Please contact customer service.
Ice maker makes a loud noise. Machine not cleaned for a long time, causing sticky substance around water pump inlet. Clean every 1-2 weeks, using neutral cleaning products (e.g., mild vinegar solution and soapy water).
Noise generated during water pumping when the pump lacks water. Add water.
Fan or ice maker is damaged. Please contact customer service.
Water pump is damaged. Please contact customer service.
Ice blocks the infrared sensor. (ICE FULL indicator is on) Empty the ice basket. If the ICE FULL indicator remains on, clean the infrared sensors. Contact customer service if sensors still do not function.
Ice cubes stick together. Ice making takes too long. Stop making ice. Once the ice has melted, restart and try again.
Ice cubes stick together. Water temperature is too low. Fill with water between 46°F and 77°F (8°C-25°C).
Evaporator deformation. Please contact customer service.
Ambient or water temperature is too high. Do not make ice.
Water pump is damaged. Please contact customer service.
